OLD Tbilisi ! Старый Тбилиси

Very good location and price. The owner is trying his best to keep you comfortable and that’s a good thing.

Squeezing sounds when you walk around. The apartment feels not stable.. like when i lie down on the bed i feel angled or something. A/C is not the best if you are visiting in a hot weather. You will suffer, i left the a/c turned on the hall stay because when I turned it off it gets really hot really fast.

It is located in prime location, yet quite. The room is cute and the hosts are kind. The Russian-Armenian couple in 60s were sweet and so was the caretaker Rubo. I would recommend this for the price..

In the night, the AC wasnt connected to power. The russian lady checked but she got really hyper as it wasn't working. Rubo initially asked us to open windows and not use AC but we insisted as it could get noisy on opening the windows. He lived far but eventually agreed to come and check. He patiently resolved the matter without any fuss and later apologised for the inconvenience. Another issue was that the bed and floor screeches on movement since it is wood, which can be annoying for some. The room floor is slanted but it was fine for us. Please note that you cant use the hotplate for cooking as it can be risky.

Комната действительно такая же атмосферная, как на фото. Она находится в доме, которому больше 200 лет. Сохранилась старинная лестница и деревянный балкон, покрытый лозами винограда. Из окон можно увидеть крыши старинного города и памятник Матери-Грузии. Очень рада была проснуться в свой первый день в Грузии в таком аутентичном месте. Я приехала уже после полуночи, была без интернета, но хозяин комнаты был на связи до последнего :) Хозяйка дома, Вера радушная, старалась помогать во всем.

Так как это центр Старого города, не следует ожидать идеальной тишины. Улочка, на которую выходят окна комнаты, довольно тихая, но если у вас чуткий сон - возьмите с собой беруши.

excellent view from the window, great location. very friendly attitude of the staff and neighbors

My husband didn't like the bed, the steep steps and the fact that there was no kitchen, but it didn't bother me.
