Antoine House is located on the 3rd floor without a lift, accessible by a wide and comfortable staircase. You will need a bit of courage to carry your luggage up.

You can access the accommodation by car to drop off your luggage by driving through the alleys of the historic centre. They are narrow but perfectly manageable if you are comfortable with this type of driving.

Saida was very responsive to our messages. I traveled with my parents. We had rented a car, and navigating the narrow streets of Avignon was hassle-free. You can stop for a few minutes at the bottom of the building to unload your luggage without any stress, and then they show you where to park. Once parked, you know the car is safe, and the biggest plus for our trip was the free parking, which made everything so much easier.

The apartment was just as described and even more beautiful and spacious. Indoor and outdoor space beautiful and great for living. Beds and bedding were first rate. Appliances and baths all new and in perfect order. We were provided a private link full of helpful information and recommendations. Margot, the hosts’ customer experience manager, was warm and friendly and met us at the front door and helped carry our bags in. She was always available for questions and made us feel very welcome. We felt like we were in our own home. A plus all around.

The apartment is truly wonderful. It is thoughtfully prepared for guests, well decorated, FILLED with light, and with views all around that are surely among the very best in the city. We made good use of the multiple balcony spaces. The kitchen is well apportioned for serious cooks. The beds are very comfy and it is quiet both inside and outside above the small residential street (all the better for hearing the cooing of doves through the open windows.) Note: this beautiful old building does not have an elevator and driving the very narrow streets of Avignon with a big car is not advisable.

The moment we walked into the apartment, I was at peace. Having early morning coffee on the deck looking over the rooftops was so peaceful. Or, watching the swallows swooning between rooftops. Going out in the morning and getting a fresh croissant from around the corner. The apartment is perfectly located within the walls of Avignon. The staff, are wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. Well organized. If the only thing I would improve on, are the 2 faux leather chairs…they fold into itself. Not comfortable, especially if you are tall. Everything else was perfect.

Marie and her team did a wonderful job with this home—this was easily one of our favorite stays during our European trip. As an interior designer and host myself, I originally chose this house for its beautiful design, and it was even more impressive in person. Every detail felt thoughtful, and the overall aesthetic was organic, calming, and incredibly welcoming. The stairs, often mentioned in reviews, were totally manageable and actually added to the charm and storybook feel of the home. We had our own little “Emily in Paris” moment when we went up with our big suitcases. lol. Our co-host, Margo, was absolutely lovely—warm, helpful, and full of great local tips. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We genuinely loved this home and only wish we had stayed longer. The town itself is charming, walkable, and full of character. We left feeling refreshed and inspired—would absolutely come back and 100 percent recommend it to others. Thank you Marie and team.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Antoine. The apartment is not only beautifully furnished but also an architectural gem—thoughtfully designed with elegant details, and a unique layout with balconies across the flat with amazing views! It’s full of light and character, and the view of the Palais des Papes from the main living room and balcony is simply breathtaking. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Avignon’s old town—yet it still a little away that makes it peaceful and private. Our family of four felt completely at home, and the included parking nearby was a real advantage. Communication with Marie and team was excellent. You can tell how much care they’ve put into creating a truly special place. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back!

There is a great view of the Palais de Papes. There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but once you’re inside everything is on one level.

This place is hexagonally perfect. The cleanliness is clean and tidy, the hosts are friendly, and the level of facilities is perfect except for the lack of an elevator. The location is also very close to the Vatican in Avignon, so it was easy to access the Vatican, parks, bridges, as well as restaurants nearby. The view is spectacular, with the Vatican clearly visible, and because it's on a rooftop, the sky blends in with the clustered houses, and the view is spectacular at night. I especially like that you can see this view from the comfort of your room. The security of the place is also very good, with three passwords on the doors, which gives me peace of mind. With all of this, I was surprised at how affordable this place was compared to others, and I would definitely visit Avignon again just to stay at this place.
