Renovated Country House Close to the Landing Sites and Bayeux

We really enjoyed the stay for our two families. Lots of parking for the two larger SUVs. The two kids chose to share one of the two bedrooms on the second floor rather than going up to a third floor room. Lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. Out in the country, but only 10 minute drive to Bayeux and not much further to downtown, large grocery store, etc. As is common in these parts of France, the road runs right by the house so we did a two-person process to exit where a second person walks to the gate and looks for traffic and when it's all clear, car drives out and person hops in. Easy to do, and keeps things safe. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Had a very enjoyable two night stay at the property which was perfect for our needs (four adult males visiting local historic sites)Each of us had our own bedrooms and Carole the host was very good to communicate with and even waited for us to arrive (late) to show us around the property and explain things to us.The property has air conditioning which was very welcome during the hot weather when we stayed. Although it is slightly out of the way in a rural setting it was only a quick drive into Bayeux for provisions and local amenities.The property was very clean and well equipped.Would definitely stay here again.

My husband, mother, and two teenagers stayed here for two nights to explore Normandy. The house is absolutely gorgeous! The owner’s pride and love clearly shine through. Every room has been filled with beautiful items adding the homes charm. The house is very centrally located to all D-day sites and Bayeux was fun town to explore. While there isn’t air conditioning upstairs there are plenty of windows that kept us comfortable. Highly recommend!!!
