Beautiful location

Staircase a bit narrow to get bags upstairs but we managed

WOW!!!! I do not have enough words to describe how absolutely perfect this place is. We've stayed in a few of the Mount Champagne cottages and we'll be returning to number 13 time and time again. The level of detail this host has put into every corner of every room shows! There were ample blankets, plugs, pillows, tables, and chairs, comfortable seating, and appliances to make this one of the most incredible stays ever! The fresh flowers, lovely rusks, chocolates on the bed, soft, fluffy towels, and roaring fireplace were the cherry on top! Everything is brand new and smart. It's such a beautifully revamped home that's been so cleverly put together. The unit is serviced immaculately every day. Christina is one of the most conscientious, kind, meticulous housekeepers I've ever met! We were blown away by her attention to detail! The horse trails are expertly guided, and I highly recommend this if you like riding. You get to see some really beautiful parts of the country. We loved this place so much - we have already booked our next stay and we can't wait to be back! PS - for the HIKERS: This is an IDEAL location! 1) There are some trails at the property that can take you up and over the mountain in front of the Dragon's Peak restaurant. (If you have the Alltrials app, use IT! There are some trails loaded and some of the paths are a little overgrown. 2) For the more adventurous hikers - If you drive just a mere 11 minutes down the road, you will be at the Monk's Cowl parking, which is the start for many beautiful hikes, including The Sphinx, The Sphinx Loop, Crystall Falls, Nandi Falls, Blindman's Corner, and many more.

Nothing - it was absolutely perfect! Faster Wifi would be an added bonus for us unfortunate people who have to work from here, although I'd rather be admiring the beautiful scenery!

Beautiful location. Quiet and family friendly with loads of activities to do. Villa was modern and clean. Loads of space to enjoy inside and out. Indoor and outdoor bbq facilities and sitting areas. Great WiFi and tv. A lady came to clean every day which was a great addition. Tennis, kayaking, fishing, grass spaces to play sports. Close to amenities and local golf courses. Close walk to a river to swim in. Overall, I look forward to staying again next year.

The property is beautiful and very peaceful, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a quiet getaway in the Drakensberg. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Our host, Elrie is amazing…

There was honestly very little to fault. The stay was pleasant overall, and everything met expectations.
