Lovely hostel in a lively area

Comfy beds and large lockers. A short walk from the centre but in a vibrant area with metro close. Food available in the evenings in the excellent social area and very helpful staff.

Great experience, would stay again

I got a private room which was very comfy and clean- great value for money! The staff were very friendly and there was even a food court on the first floor.

Great fun and good energy. Positive and friendly staff.

Fun vibe with a friendly staff. I slept well and had plenty of privacy in my room. The restaurant-bar area is lots of fun.

Everything was good. No complaints. Maybe just a wish to have a bathroom or at least a wc outside the room in addition to the shared one in the room.

It was in a good spot. The rooms where clean and nice and cheap

You can’t hear what’s going on in the rooms around you. There was music on a Tuesday night going until late that you can hear from the room. There was no hot water one of the days of our stay and for 3 days one of the toilets had no toilet paper and no one topped it up.

Fun, modern hostel giving good access to a great city

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hostel has great design and an interesting set-up, with a buzzy food court downstairs. Beds were comfortable and rooms laid out well

An Enjoyable Stay

Facilities are new and high-quality. Everything in the room is clear and arranged, and the electronical lock is convient once you understand how it works. Provided Pre-checkin luggage storage. Has a cute and well-equipped food hall / workplace at the ground floor.

1) In-house ventilation is ok, if windows are open; However, if any roommate is stinky, that smell will be locked behind their beds' curtains. It may shock you when it leaks. Wind comes from windows cannot really solve this problem. 2) It's not allowed to have my own breakfast in the food hall in the morning. Only those purchased hostel breakfast can eat in it. It's allowed to eat outside the hall in the yard though. Can't see the rationale of this restriction.

A great place to be.

The Jost hostels are great!! I love the diversity of the people who sleep here. Old, young, families!! The people at Jost Lille are so nice. The service was great. I booked a bed in a women dormitory but than they also let men in the room. When I told the receptionist that I didn't feel comfortable with that situation, he moved me to a private room with a lot of comfort!! Thanks so much for this nice solution.

Met some Nice People, Comfy Beds, Need to Be a Bit Flexible

I liked the people I met, the decor was decent, with an individualised look. The beds were soft and comfy. Reasonable checking out time. Nice pleasant area. I love that you can get a litre of water at carrefore city nearby and there was a very quaint shop that I pictured. I didn’t utilise it myself but they had a comprehensive social itinerary. I was grateful I was permitted an extra half an hour for getting things together, which I believe the time spent engaging with countless processes, had a knock on effect on my enjoyment, especially as it was a birthday trip.

There was a lot of stress over unexpected demands. They did not stipulate that they would be taking ‘security’ funds and tried prematurely to seek it, and kept being very belligerent about this. Luckily I was able to BE in communication otherwise I’m not sure whether I would have been safe with a room, which I felt for an establishment which is saying it’s a hostel, that was very inflexible. That said, when I did get there it was easily remedied. Another thing was the prices of some food items in their food hall were basically half the price of a room (pizza €26 euros) but ultimately I said to myself if you’re planning a scheduled holiday trip with a decent budget, you could manage, but it did feel excessive. Also aspects of the decor were just a little too contrived for my taste, but it’s ok for me for a short stay. The toilet roll in the toilet was on the floor, with pegs present where the toilet roll holder is likely to appear! The place has apparently just opened, but I think if you’re going to be very fastidious about payment routines you should at least put up a toilet roll holder!! I will gracefully leave it there, as it’s not a bad place. I wish them luck in the future.

Sol de la chambre en béton Couloirs immenses. Difficile de trouver sa chambre. Carte de chambre se désactive même avant l'heure départ donc attention si vous sortez de la douche.

Le food court très cool, avec des jeux, des prises pour travailler, le baby-foot. Les chambres sont bien équipés, les lits confortables on y est bien installé. Personnel très sympa, bonne ambiance !

Bon séjour

Cette auberge est vraiment sympa et propose plein d'activités et d'événements qui en font un lieu convivial et vivant. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique. La chambre cabine louée avait un lit confortable et une grande couette ! L’emplacement de l’auberge est bien pour rejoindre le centre de Lille en transport, voire même à pied ! La bagagerie est top puisqu’il s’agit de casiers personnels à code. L’auberge propose de nous renseigner sur les activites alentours, les restaurants,... et c'est très apprecié :)

Les douches communes pour les chambres cabines ne sont pas très bien pensées (surtout au dernier étage). En effet, il n’y a aucun crochet pour les affaires ni banc et ne permettent donc pas vraiment de pouvoir s’habiller dans les douches. Et les portes de douche semies transparentes avec les miroirs des lavabos en face, alors qu’il s’agit de salles de bain mixtes, c’est tout de même moyen. Uniquement 2 douches par étage avec 2 WC (avec 1 douche qui ne ferme pas et des WC hors services... ca laisse peu d’options pour l'étage). Il n’y a pas beaucoup de place dans les chambres cabines (rien n’est prévu pour étendre les serviettes dans la chambre, et aucun espace pour ranger les valises (donc prévoir des petites valises cabines). Concernant le ménage, très surprise de voir que la personne en charge du ménage le soir ne fasse que regarder et passer un coup de chiffon histoire de dire et c’est tout. Les toilettes n’ont pas été desinfectées, les douches non plus. Eh bien c’est un peu décevant de voir que le ménage n’est pas vraiment fait, bien que l’aspect général semble propre. Surtout au vu du nombre de personnes qui utilisent ces salles de bain... à revoir le ménage des parties communes donc.

Première fois que je testais la chambre individuelle avec douche et toilettes partagées…moins pratique mais ça va.

Il n’y a qu’un espace sanitaire (douche et toilettes) par étage. À mon étage, cet espace était inaccessible à cause d’un problème de canalisation. Je devais donc aller un autre étage à chaque fois que je voulais aller aux toilettes, ce qui n’était pas pratique. De plus, aucun message n’avait été indiqué sur la porte, donc quand je suis arrivé j’ai dû comprendre par moi-même ce que je devais faire si je devais aller aux toilettes et prendre ma douche. Rien ne m’avait également été communiqué au moment du check-in.

rien à redire, personnel sympa et qui donne d'excellents conseils sur la ville, les activités... Parking pas facile mais très pratique. Quartier animé et grand choix pour manger un morceau ou des frites "locales" !!

Petit bémol: le food court est extra choix et prix très corrects mais tous fermés à 14h00 pile poil... En vacances, on mange à toute heure !! Mais c'est aussi à nous de nous adapter donc ce n'est pas vraiment un point négatif

Fantastique ambiance ! Lit très confortable. Cadre très agréable et branché. Très vivant et cosmopolite. Personnel très agréable ! Canapés, fauteuil, confortable. Tu peux y passer la journée pour lire ou jouer à des jeux de société mis à la disposition de tous. À 3 stations metro (5 min en métro), du centre ville, gare Flandres.

Peut être plus de douches et toilettes par étage serait un plus car il faut parfois attendre pour prendre sa douche mais dans l'ensemble, on y accède assez rapidement sans trop d'attente.

Fantastisch verblijf!

De locatie, het mega vriendelijke personeel, de grote gezamenlijke ruimte en de bedden waren fantastisch. Ook waren er ruime kluisjes op de kamer waar genoeg plek in is om al je spullen op te bergen. Ieder bed heeft een eigen stopcontact en lampje. Vergeet niet om in ieder geval een cappuccino te halen op je eerste dag, je zult verkocht zijn voor je hele trip!

De inrichting van de kamer is soms was lastig als je daadwerkelijk met 6 bent, dan loop je elkaar snel in de weg. Ook zorgde de indeling ervoor dat 4 mensen eigenlijk geen daglicht hadden bij hun bed. Ook miste we wel echt een prullenbak op de kamer. De badkamer/toilet is in 3 dagen niet schoongemaakt.

部屋が清潔でした。一階のレストランもよかったです。ビールがたのしく飲めました。お店の名前がうろ覚えですが、たぶんFenaki?っぽい名前のレバノン料理のお店のサラダがとてもおいしかった。宮殿美術館まで歩いて10分か15分くらい。途中に、軽めの朝ごはんを食べれるようなカフェやパン屋さんがあります。

ほとんどない。けど、部屋のゴミ箱が小さかった。大きめのごみをどこに捨てればよいのか分からなかった。フロントのスタッフに質問すればよかったのだけど、尋ねそびれた。ただし、この点はささいな点です。すてきな滞在ができました。ありがとう。

locatie is in de buurt van het centrum. er zijn veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. ook de foodcourt onder het hotel is leuk. Ze hebben ook leuke activiteiten. kamers waren schoon,

Parkeren met een grote station auto is erg moeilijk. parkeergarages van het hostel is te krap volgens het personeel. geen goede parkeer garage kunnen vinden. op laatste dag zag ik dat er een buiten parkeerplaats is bij het Citadelle. die lijkt ruime genoeg en geen max hoogte/hoogte beperking. Stapel bed, ben ik niet zo fan van.

Hôtel très sympa , personnel agréable , chambre confortable avec du rangement et des prises en suffisance . Le petit déjeuner à 16e avec un grand choix c'est parfait : 👍🏼 La possibilité d'avoir une place dans le petit parking sur réservation .

Il manquerait peut être un ou deux crochets et une petite étagère dans la douche commune afin de pouvoir disposer des affaires sans avoir a sortir de la douche au risque de se retrouver nez à nez tout nu avec un inconnu 😊 sinon rien d'autre :)
