The location - although obviously there was nothing to be done about that. However once inside easily forgettable as the facilities were so good & the apartment was really cosy & serene

Very good but no parking

It was in a central location and very clean and nicely furnished

It's listed as having car parking it doesn't we got a message the day before our arrival advising this meant using a long stay car park a couple of streets away.. Also hard to pinpoint because the apartments have a restaurant sign over them that was not mentioned

Spacious apartment in character building

Apartment was spacious and an easy walk to the ferry terminal. We liked the character and history of the building. Once we had found the location (which took us a couple of drives past) getting inside was fine. We were glad we were returning our hire car so didn't need parking as that looked to potentially have some challenges. There were plenty of wall sockets for easy charging of devices.

Perfect location for what we needed as was catching the ferry, nice and spacious and comfortable.

Location to ferry

Hard to find not particularly clean (chose not to eat in) shower receptacle incredibly small. Just enough for me (5’2”). My husband couldn’t shower because too small! The management mistakenly gave our room code to another group so a little disconcerting. Bed uneven and the bed linen almost threadbare. Not particularly pleasant. Would not return

It had everything that was needed for our 1 night stay. The host was accessible, very helpful and great detailed check in information.

Very convenient for ferry

Very convenient for getting the ferry in the morning and everything was provided to allow us to make some food the night before and have a relaxed evening.

The long stay car park is not very close to the accommodation, if you've got a child and all their stuff too, but the owner gave very helpful instructions on where to park and options.

Not good.

The rental was close to the port of arrival. Not convenient however for us as we arrived after dark, walked with three bags each and we are both seniors. Certainly not within walking distance for seniors. Not walkable or accessible for anyone with physical limitations.

Accurate exterior markings as to the and actual location of the facility. Facility was not marked as Lower Harbor Watch. Our GPS indicated we had "arrived" but inquiries at Pub and convenience store nearby as well as people on the street were not helpful. No one had ever heard of Lower Harbor Watch. Host or owner just needs to have clear instructions. Fourtunately someone was able to see us on a security camera fumbling around with multiple bags and we eventually got access.

Great for a stop pre or post ferry

It is in the town centre so convenient for takeaway’s and convenience stores, walkable to car parks. Inside it’s got character and is very clean. You can easily see the ferry port on the opposite side of the road. The TV in living room is huge there’s also a Tv in the bedroom as well as bed side reading lamps and the kitchen is great with all you need for a 1 night stop. Radix shower gels, towels and washing up liquid/ cleaning materials a plenty. There are even hooks for hanging goats on.

On arrival finding somewhere to park wasn’t easy, we drove around x 3 before finding the long stay car as short stay only allows for a maximum of 2 hours until 8pm. The mattress is not great quality and we could feel the springs, the sofa bed was very comfortable but a couple of extra chairs for sitting in the living room would be nice as we were 4 people so someone had to sit on the floor. You could hear the people in apartment above walking around, this as it’s a lovely building that’s been converted without enough soundproof

La ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca del puerto (ferry). El departamento es muy lindo, renovado, pero auténtico. Silencioso.

El único baño no está en la habitación, sino al lado de la cocina. En la habitación hay muy poco espacio para organizar o acomodar pertenencias y/o equipaje. El colchón de la cama podría renovarse pronto, no es cómodo y se percibe y siente que ya pasó su vida útil.
