Great small hotel

Super friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Eg. We left at 5.30am to catch a plane. They provided packed breakfasts for us! And saw us off personally at that time. 5 minutes off a main street with loads of bars and restaurants, many beach front.

Lovely place to chill.

We had a wonderful stay. The host (Colonel) and his wife as well as the staff are super nice and friendly willing to go out of their way to arrange activities for you. The place is wonderful. Clean and quiet. Tropical retreat like place with only 6 units at the entire resort. Everything is very well maintained and cared for. Great value for the money. Will come again!

The location is a little bit far from beach but if you are up for a 10 min walk through quiet local streets - not a problem. I suggest rent a scooter if you are staying any length of time. Host can arrange it for you.

Quiet, relaxing jungle vibe

Charoon, his wife, and the housekeeper were exceptionally kind and accommodating. We were invited for supper a few times at no charge-served delicious Thai food. It is easy to see the pride and humbleness that goes in to every action at this Villa.

Quiet little Haven

Beautiful small haven tucked away an easy 10 minute walk to main street. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. We were treated to beautiful home cooked meals through out our stay for breakfast and occasional dinners. It was really a highlight of our stay getting to know them. Highly recommend this place of your after a quieter more personalised experience.

Charming, simple but perfect.

We loved our time here. It was incredibly peaceful surrounded by lush jungle yet very close to the shops. We loved that it was family owned and only a few rooms. It meant the pool was never busy. They were always happy to connect you with local services. If you stay longer than one night, you definitely need a motorbike to be able to get into town. It isn't far but there isn't much walking room by the road.

Google maps struggled to locate it. Even our driver got lost at night but this really did not matter.

Amazing

The stay was the best! Super clean and you really get the feeling you’re away from it all. Tucked into the jungle but still close to the beach. The family and staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever come across—from helping us book motorbikes and airport taxis to inviting us to join for dinner. They really make you feel at home.

Amazing stay with kind hosts

A charming accomodation in the middle of the forest. The hosts are incredibly kind and we highly recommend having dinner with them. If you would like to rent a scooter, do it through them as well. The rooms are good and clean with all necessary amenities and the pool is very nice.

More than a paradise, a home in Krabi!

Our stay at Baan Koh Kwang was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were hugged in warmth and hospitality by the resort owners. Their sumptuous al fresco dinners, shared with other guests, made us feel like part of a close-knit family. Initially planning a brief two-night stay, we were so captivated by the resort's charm and the owners' genuine care that we extended our stay to eleven days. Every thai meal prepared by Mommy Poy and her staff, from breakfast to dinner, was a delightful experience, made even more special by the owners' thoughtful and attentive service. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, arranging transportation and offering valuable recommendations for exploring the area. Nestled amidst a lush jungle, Baan Koh Kwang was an oasis of tranquility. The soothing sounds of nature provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. It was exactly the authentic Thai experience we had hoped for. Leaving Baan Koh Kwang was bittersweet, but we were touched by the owners' generosity in offering to take us to the airport. It felt like saying goodbye to dear friends. We are already planning our return and can't wait to experience this incredible place again. Baan Koh Kwang truly became our home away from home. Idyllisches kleines Hotel im Dschungel und liebevoller Gastfamilie

Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel - Super ruhig und schön gelegen. Und inkl. Familien-Anschluss - das ist schon aussergewöhnlich. Charoon behält seine Gäste persönlich im Blick. Wir sind vegetarisch, hatten es aber nicht extra gesagt. Als er das mitbekam - zack, nächster Tag beim Frühstück extra vegetarisch aufgetischt Auch das Dinner mit Familie zu dem eingeladen wird ist einfach nur klasse

L hôtel est au calme, dans la nature. Ce qui est appréciable si vous recherchez la tranquillité. L hôte est très gentil et nous a aidé pour notre taxi Le petit balcon est aussi appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est fait maison

L hôtel est très compliqué à trouver pour les taxis car il est mal geolocalise par Google. Des panneaux supplémentaires auraient permis de faciliter son accès. La literie est également très dure et assez sommaire. Le petit déjeuner est aussi très basique. Notons tout de même qu'il propose du café instantané. Ces commentaires sont au regard du tarif de 84 euros la nuit réservé plusieurs mois à l avance qui reste un hôtel avec un sacré coup pour la Thaïlande.

Thank you Mr Charoon and wife !

Struttura immersa nel verde a 10 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale con ristoranti , negozi e una lunga spiaggia molto bella. Abbiamo soggiornato in uno dei due bungalow deluxe, spazioso e ben accessoriato. Giardino curato e piacevole piscina. Grande disponibilità e attenzione del proprietario che ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta ( gita in barca, prenotazione taxi , yogurt a colazione ) ed è sempre stato presente o reperibile via whatsapp. Due delle tre sere siamo stati invitati a cena nel piccolo padiglione in giardino con ottimo cibo casalingo preparato dalla moglie .Abbiamo socializzato con gli altri ospiti e persino partecipato ad un matrimonio nel villaggio in cui si trova la struttura. Questa è la vera Thailandia che porteremo nel cuore.

Un séjour parfait dans un superbe cadre

Nous avons passé trois jours dans cet établissement et tout était parfait. Il s'agit de notre plus beau séjour en Thailande. Les propriétaires Chafoon et son épouse sont d'une grande gentillesse. Ils ont tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe bien. Chafoon nous a par exemple aidés à réserver une excursion et le taxi retour. Ils nous ont même gentimment invités à diner et le repas était vraiment le meilleur qu'on ait mangé en Thailande. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et vraiment bon. L'hotel est situé dans un cadre magnifique en pleine végétation. Superbe à voir. Il y a une très belle et agréable piscine. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la chambre aussi qui est spacieuse et décorée avec goût. De plus, elle est moderne avec tous les équipements nécessaires tels que la climatisation, l'eau chaude, etc. La plage se situe à seulement 10 minutes à pied. Le coucher de soleil y est sensationnel. Je vous conseille vivement cet hotel. Si nous revenons en Thailande, c est certain que nous reviendrons dans cet hotel. Merci pour tout Sandrine et Philippe

Estancia tranquila en un lugar precioso con ambiente muy agradable

El lugar era precioso, tranquilo, limpio, y muy silencioso. Los dueños eran muy amables, tenía el desayuno incluido e incluso nos invitaron a cenar una de las noches. La mujer cocinó para todos los huéspedes comida tradicional tailandesa. Todo estaba riquísimo y su amabilidad inmejorable. Incluso nos ayudó a gestionar la reserva de una scooter, y nos acercó a la carretera principal para coger un Grab más facilmete.

Está lejos de todo, desde el ferry, estación de autobuses e incluso Ao Nang beach o cualquier sitio al que tengas que acceder para moverte tienes que pagar un taxi, no hay buses ni taxis o tuk tuk compartidos. Es caro ir y volver, pero si tienes suerte puedes conseguir scooter o grabs a buen precio.

Parfait

Le lieu est paisible très beau rempli de végétation à l’écart de la ville. Je conseille un scooter pour se déplacer le propriétaire se charge de la location si vous lui demander nous avions eu notre scooter 30’minutes après notre arrivée. Tout est absolument propre. Les propriétaires sont d’une grande gentillesse et nous propose de dîner ce qui est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est complet et délicieux. En gros nous avons passé un très bon moment.

La literie est un point à améliorer c’était vraiment très dur. Sinon tout serait parfait.

Wohlfühlort mit tollen Gastgebern

Der Besitzer und seine Frau sind unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Menschen. Die Häuser und der Pool bilden eine kleine Oase, umgeben von Bäumen und absoluter Ruhe. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Personen mit eigenem Badezimmer inklusive Dusche sowie einem kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool. Zur Unterkunft sind wir mit dem Roller angereist, für den uns ein überdachter Parkplatz zur Verfügung stand. Wir können den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Tolle Auszeit in der Natur

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, sauber und neu. Man lebt im Dschungel, ist aber auch schnell an der Hauptstraße wo es einen 7 eleven und viele andere Dinge gibt wie Massage, Restaurants etc. Es gibt 2 Strände in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr herzliches Personal.

Leider sind die Wände im Haus sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten Nachbarn die bis in die Nacht laut waren und es hallt einfach extrem. Hatten leider Pech.

Super miejsce, na spokojny wypoczynek z dala od zgiełku. Jakość domku i jego wyposażenie super, tak samo jak basen i miejsca do leżakowania. Sami gospodarze to odrębna kategoria ludzi troszczących się o swoich gości na każdym kroku. W ciągu tygodnia zaprosili gości 3 razy na kolację, której nie było w pakiecie. Do plaży jest kawałek, ale to właśnie daje poczucie spokoju i ciszy w otoczeniu przyrody. Jeżeli ktoś potrzebuje, można zamówić dojazd.

Geweldige ligging met meer dan behulpzame eigenaren

Super mooi en gunstige locatie gelegen pool villa. Bij aankomst kregen we gelijk een complementary diner aangeboden. Deze was gratis en had de vrouw des huizes voor ons klaargemaakt. Deze vrouw kan koken!! Ze heeft me achteraf nog de recepten gestuurd. Er is een taalbarrière, maar niks wat een goede vertaalapp niet kan fixen. De hulpvaardigheid van de eigenaren zijn zoals elke Thai erg hoog en de woorden: Eat a lot, eat a lot...zal je nog lang bijblijven als je er bent geweest. We hoefden zelf niet in het drukke Krabi Ao Nang te zitten wat deze locatie perfect maakte. Met een scooter of grab kom je overal. Aanrader voor elk stel (in mijn mening) 4/5.

Parfait

Charoon est quelqu’un de très accueillant, on se sent ici chez soi! Il nous a organisé toutes les activités, à des prix très raisonnables, loins des attrapes touristes habituelles ! Les chambres sont somptueuses, propres et spacieuses, c’est comme dans un rêve ! La nourriture est typique, locale, faite maison, c’est délicieux ! Nous avons été invité tous les soirs à dîner et cela sans pouvoir les payer ! Ce sont des gens extrêmement généreux ! C’est un vrai havre de paix, je vous le recommande à 100% !

Het is er heerlijk rustig. Een prachtige tuin. Met een lekker zwembad. De bungalow is schoon. De eigenaars zijn zulke lieve mensen,ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ze spreken weinig Engels maar met Google translate kom je ver.

Luxus im Outback

Charoon, seine Frau und das gesamte Personal sind freundlich und waren permanent fröhlich. Die Unterkunft ist so beschrieben abgebildet und befindet sich leicht im hinteren Teil des Ortes. Unser Grabfahrer hatte leichte Probleme es zu finden. Die Kommunikation gestaltete sich mit Google Übersetzer sehr einfach und alle unsere Anfragen wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt vom Transfer über Scooter Renting oder über das Take Away Frühstück bei unserer Abreise morgens um 6.30Uhr. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, aber einfach gehalten. Wir wurden auch zweimal von Charoon zum Abendessen eingeladen. Einmal mit den anderen Hotelgästen. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit exelentem ThaiFood.

Zimmer war etwas hellhörig, Betten etwas zu hart für meinen Geschmack und es gibt keinen Safe in der Unterkunft, aber das sind am Ende des Tages Kleinigkeiten im Vergleich zum Rest.

Tolles kleines Hotel

Sehr herzliche Inhaber und Personal, eine kleine, abgelegene und ruhige Anlage mit tollem Pool und sehr leckerem Essen.

Einziges Manko ist die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer: man hört die Nachbarn reden, Türen schließen etc. Alles andere wäre jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau: Man ist quasi mitten im Dschungel, weshalb man eben auch ein wenig Weg in Kauf nehmen muss. Außerdem haben die Betten einen unangenehmen Holzrand, an dem wir uns mehrfach das Schienbein gestoßen haben, aber beides kein Grund abzuwerten!

Un logement paradisiaque qui nous a déconnecté de la réalité!

L'hôte a été d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Toujours là pour nous, il nous a offert à diner plusieurs fois, nous a fourni plusieurs recommandations de qualité et s'est montré très disponible durant toute la durée de notre séjour. L'établissement se trouvant éloigné du centre-ville, nous avons loué un scooter pour nous déplacer et il s'est occupé de tout. Je recommande!

Dans l’ensemble il était incroyable

Le calme et la verdure de cette endroit on fais de notre séjour un moment inoubliable. Ptite penser a l’hôte qui étais vraiment a l’écoute de et super gentils comme sa famille.

Le faite que la pluie nous tombais goutte par goutte de par le toit lorsqu’il y avait de forte pluie, puis en nous déplaçant de chambre l’odeur des égouts qui remontais par l’évier et la douche.

Personale molto cordiale, ci ha aiutate ad ambientarci nella città e a trovare le escursioni migliori che facessero al caso nostro. La struttura è immersa nel verde, in uno spazio unico e molto intimo. Camera molto spaziosa, bagno spazioso, tutto pulitissimo. Aree comuni ben pensate, molto tipiche. I gestori ci hanno fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra.

Unica pecca è la posizione: non ben individuabile dal gps, ma situata a pochi minuti dalla strada principale.
