Retro House with Garden in Anopoli

Die Unterkunft ist schön in der Altstadt gelegen und hat einen kleinen Garten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und perfekt für 2 bis 4 Personen. Die Küche war auch sehr gut ausgestattet und die Gastgeber*innen waren immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. (Eine Extrarolle Klopapier wäre die Kirsche auf der Sahne gewesen :))

Very clean Facilities more than adequate Very obliging owners Eleanna and Haris who kindly agreed to keep our luggage for a few hours after the checkout time. Extremely easy to contact the owners and kept updating us regularly before we reached Thessaloniki, and during our stay. Very easy to obtain the key of the property from the key safe. Very steep location, but one gets used to it after a day or two. Taxis are easily available and very affordable. Download the taxi app “FREENOW” and then it is a breeze. Bus number 23 is a short walk away. And we used it a few times . Can purchase tickets on the bus using credit card. We saw bus number 22 , the stop was nearer, I’ve never got a chance to use this. Very close to landmarks such as Vlatadon monastery & Church of Agios Pavlov , both of which are connected to Saint Paul.

In general everything was great! The staff, the place, even the surroundings look great. It sends you in a different age, but it keeps the quality of the technology at hand. You can see the city from the street, beautiful, both day and night. On one side of the street you are underground on the other you have a garden, it's greatly improvised for an old house, with good taste and everything you need. One of the most beautiful booking experiences so far. I strongly recommend it!

As amazing as the location is, it is not easy to park or to drive around that area of the city. If you want to go by foot, it is far away from the center/any sea, if you want to go by car, it's hard to get there, hard to find parking in the central city and when you come back it's hard to park the car home. You always find a place to park, it's a closed street, so no worries about finding a spot, but it gets crowded and it won't be easy to park and leave from a closed street. So everything is still amazing here, just expect a little "work" when you leave the house, either if you go by foot or by car.
