Cosy Penthouse -up to 6 guests- in the City Centre!

Le vibes erano eccezionali. Sembrava di stare in casa di qualcuno che aveva arredato con amore e non in uno di quei luoghi moderni spersonalizzati e austeri. Tutta la casa era molto pulita e curata in ogni dettaglio, c’era sapone, asciugamani e tisane a volontà. Possibilità di cambiare spazi, dalla cucina al divano del soggiorno alla terrazza. Host fantastici. Ho conosciuto Naz che non solo mi ha mostrato tutto l’appartamento (cosa che non fa più quasi nessuno perché ti lasciano solo le chiavi e nemmeno vogliono perdere tempo) invece lui è rimasto a chiacchierare e ha creato un “walking tour” apposta per me, consigliandomi passeggiate e cafe e luoghi da visitare che potevo fare nei miei due giorni di permanenza in città. La cosa bella poi è che gli host vivono nell’appartamento di fianco quindi sapevo che se ci fossero stati dei problemi avrei potuto trovarli lì. Non è una cosa di poco conto visto che spesso capita di aver bisogno di una persona del luogo o che conosca la casa. La zona mi è piaciuta molto perché non si trova in mezzo al casino di turisti ma abbastanza vicino per andarci la sera e comunque vicino anche al castello e la parte alta della città che mi è piaciuta tanto.

Tutto perfetto. L’unica cosa che posso suggerire di togliere è il profumo per ambienti che si trova all’entrata, è un po forte e fa uno strano rumore ogni volta che spara un getto di profumo. Consiglio di sostituirlo con uno più delicato e non messo in alto sul muro così l’ospite può spostarlo in un angolo della casa.

The owners were extemely nice and helpful and this was probably the best part of our stay. The apartment was very cute and quite centrally placed. We had all we needed for our stay, including cutlery and pans for cooking, a microwave, and a clothes iron.

It was quite cold outside and the apartment had no central heating, so all we could do was turn on the AC and put it on heating mode.

The location is great. The app is positioned very centrally and close to Aristotle square, with many shops and stores around. It is spacious place and in the secured building and very quiet neighbourhood, however it is not suitable for 6 persons as advertised and there is no parking (except paid public parking on the street).

The pictures are not adequately representing the conditions in the apartment. The space is very old and many things are not functioning properly or functioning with some limitation (AC is old and noisy and not sufficient for the size of the place, the stove is old and very slowly working, the lamps in the house were mostly broken, the heating needs to be switched on and off all the time in order to be able to use hot water! ) The apartment needs serious renovation as well as replacement of sheets, blankets and towels (those are very old and worn). The bathroom has ceiling of 1,85 so if you are above 1,50 you can not used it without struggle. Finally, the place is definitely not adequately equipped as there was just few items in the kitchen. We asked for wine glasses as we were there during the festive season and we get from Dimitris 3 small (hardly adequate) glasses… Even the existing culinary items are old and hardly usable.
