It was a cozy and comfortable space, large enough for 5 to use as a launch pad in Paris. If you are a family or group of 5 or more and plan to spend a fair amount of time in the apartment, you may find the common space a little tight. The apartment is a unique space with a few imperfections that are just part of its wonderful charm. The unit was clean and stocked with espresso pods, fresh linens, small welcome toiletry packages, a fresh dishwashing kit and dishwasher pods. The neighbourhood is lively, it’s central to many tourists hotspots, is very walkable, has a grocery store steps away, and the metro is right near your doorstep. We also were happily surprised to find it had a washer/dryer. Be aware that it is on the top floor and has no elevator. Not a problem, just something to know.

As part of the check-in process we were asked to provide a deposit. We contacted Booking who said we should not provide it and they then reached out to the host on our behalf. There was no initial response for 48 hours but, as per Bookings advice, we ignored the deposit request and it wasn’t an issue. I suspect it is just part of the process for when you book with them directly and it hasn’t been removed for those booking from an outside site. Instructions for leaving the building could be clarified. The button to unlock the building door is labelled with a bell. We left very early our first morning and couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door and were hesitant to press it incase it was a doorbell or alarm. Best not to have to figure that kind of stuff out in an emergency.

The location is exceptional its in a nice area and you have everything u need around you. the owners are very helpful and the apartment is clean and nicely decorated.

Goede locatie en goed uitgeruste keuken met wasmachine en vaatwasser. Ook waren er netjes welkomst pakketjes voor de keuken en badkamer . Ophalen van de sleutel ging makkelijk en het appartement was best schoon.

Communicatie met de eigenaar verliep moeizaam. Reageerde vaak niet op mijn bericht en gaf alleen antwoord als het hem uitkwam. Het was erg warm in het appartement, vooraf had ik gevraagd of ik een ventilator kon krijgen, maar nooit antwoord gekregen op mijn vraag, ook al heb ik het 3 keer gevraagd. Nu moesten we met alle ramen open slapen om het enigszins oké te krijgen, maar hierdoor hadden we veel last van muggen en het lawaai van buiten. Tevens is het appartement echt krap en is het voor 5 personen niet te doen. Er staan ook maar 4 stoelen rondom de tafel. Tevens rook de badkamer naar riool lucht.
