Canova House in Florence

Great location with a bus stop just a short walk away and a supermarket nearby with everything you might need. Public parking is available, and since the neighborhood is quiet, we had no trouble finding a parking space. The apartment was also spacious and convenient for exploring Florence.

The main issue was the cleanliness, especially the bathroom. When we arrived, we found hair on the bathroom rug and inside the shower, which gave a poor first impression. Although this didn't affect my rating because it wasn't advertised as a feature, I strongly recommend installing air conditioning. Florence regularly reaches temperatures above 40°C in summer, and two fans were simply not enough. Sleeping in temperatures above 30°C with no fresh air was very uncomfortable. If a traditional outdoor AC unit cannot be installed due to restrictions on historic buildings, a portable or indoor air conditioning system could be a good alternative. I also recommend installing mosquito screens on the windows. Opening the windows at night was the only way to get some airflow, but it resulted in dozens of mosquitoes entering the apartment. We killed at least 20 the next morning.

Wir waren früher da, als geplant. Eigentümerin hat uns früher ins Appartement gelassen. Wir reisten mit Motorrad. Dieses konnten wir in die Garage stellen. Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass gegenüber der Unterkunft ein grosses Einkaufscenter ist, dass täglich bis 21 Uhr offen hat. Alles in allem eine top Unterkunft.

Appartement bien situé pour accéder au centre. Un arrêt de bus tout proche (bus 77) vous emmène en 3 arrêts à la station de tram 1 qui vous dépose au centre ville. Appartement sympa avec un supermarché juste en face.
