Cheap but not very cheerful for extra £25 could of stayed in a hotel in area

The bed was comfortable facilities in room adequate Host was fairly helpful in booking my taxi very early in the morning

Good value for money

The property is in a very quiet neighbourhood, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Becky was very attentive and answered my messages in a timely fashion.

The house gets very cold during the day and the thermostat doesn’t seem to work? Also the walls are very thin so you can hear everything from other guests (or the person next to me was just very loud).

Great value for money room with all you could need.

You have to call on arrival to be talked through getting the keys. I personally struggled with opening the key box as you need two hands to open it and because I have long nails, it was a bit of a struggle for me but owner stayed on the phone with me until I had the keys and explained how to access room key. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, one downstairs and three upstairs. I had a Very comfy bed and pillows which I would liken to be just like premier inn for bedding and comfort. You are provided with a bath Towel and some single use toiletries are also supplied. Kettle, mug and drinks sachets/teabags etc also supplied in room as well as a TV. If you sign into prime or Netflix on the TV, remember to sign back out again. Although the house is non smoking, my bedroom (4) smelt as if it had been smoked in for a long time, not just a one off as it had that smell like when you go into a smokers home. The rest of the house was fine and didn’t smell, but each time I walked back into my room, I was hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Kitchen/diner/lounge area has everything you need - microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, oven and even a washer. There is also an iron and ironing board in the storage cupboard. There is one shared bathroom and toilet. Bathroom has bath with shower over and a sink. Toilet is separate and has no sink. This was an issue for me as another guest seemed to have an upset stomach during my stay, which I was aware of due to their lack of “leaving it as they found it” and obviously they wouldn’t have been able to wash their hands before leaving the toilet, to have to go into the bathroom! I think the owner should look to install a mini sink which would at least ensure you could wash your hands before leaving the toilet. There is also a nice garden space outside, although I didn’t go into the back garden. I found a parking space on the street easily enough and property was easy to find.

My bedroom smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Separate toilet but no sink in there. Other guests failure to leave as they found in shared areas - not the owners fault at all just a disrespectful guest.

Everything you need!

The room has everything you need, the location is close enough to the conference centre and it is nice and quiet. Also has a kitchen and outdoor area which i did not have time to use.

The doors were not easy to open, and it took me a while each time i had to open the front and room door. The check in is by call which I think would be easier if it was by written instructions.
