Villa Palmera 2

This was our third holiday to this area over the last few years and everything at this property was just great. Perfectly clean and comfortable house, garden and pool, there is all you need to enjoy your holiday. We would definitely stay here again! The area is just right for our family, easy walk to the beach and lots of choice of restaurants etc. Great market during the week with lots of lovely fruit/veg/bread etc to choose from. The beach is great and we rented paddle boards and pedalos. This is a great place to stay for your holiday.

The villa is great, and as described. All 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom (2 ensuite). Great storage in all rooms. Lots of outside space with the downstairs area by the pool, the shared balcony from the bedrooms (very big) and the solarium on the roof. The area is incredibly quiet and safe. Hardly ever saw many people around aside from locals walking their dogs in an evening/morning. Very much a local area with only local tourism. There are international tourists, but very few. Enjoyed having a morning coffee on the roof each day watching the military planes flying over head. 10-15 mins walk to the beach, where there are restaurants. 5mins (driving) from a shopping centre with a large Carrefour supermarket. 25mins from Murcia airport. You will need a car if you want to explore more outside the local area, as it is very hard to sort taxis & Uber doesn't cover the area. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

The only things missing for us were a guide for the villa (ie. how to use air con/controls, where the nearest bins/recycling are). Also it would have been good to have had a clean during the stay. There was nothing to clean the pool with. Pool guy came but was only there for a few minutes.

Villa was very modern and had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked a treat. Also pool and terrace area was lovely.

I was told that the keys could be picked up from a lock box which was about a 7 minute walk away. Would have preferred the lock box to be at the property or to have been met at the property by someone with a key. Villa was a little out of town for the amenities, but got used to the walk to the beach/town every day. Not many amenties on the doorstep. Nearest supermarket was a 15 minute walk away.
