Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist optimal für Ausflüge bzw. Wanderungen in der Cinque Terre. Man ist für sich allein und das Frühstücken kann man im nahe gelegenem Hotel mit traumhaften Blick auf Manarola. Der Ort Volastra liegt oberhalb von Manarola und hat alles was man braucht. Minimarkt, Bar, Restaurant, Weingarten mit super Ausblick. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Bus fährt von Volastra nach Manarola und von dort kann man mit der Bahn oder auch zu Fuß die Cinque Terre erkunden. Vielen Dank für alles, wir kommen wieder!!!

! Die Treppe vom Wohnbereich in den Schlafbereich ist etwas eng. Ich, 1.75 m und 105 Kg, also nicht gerade schlank, bin aber gut hoch und runter gekommen😉

Super Kage um die Cinque Terre zu erkunden. Direkt am Wanderweg oder auch um mit dem Bike unterwegs zu sein,

Am Ankunftstag kein Platz im Restaurant…im Ort gibt es nur zwei.

Volastra is a special location, right above Cinque Terre. And with that, a beautiful landscape and panoramic walks just follow. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. There’s a tiny spiral staircase to climb to be able to reach your bedroom from the kitchen downstairs. Not a problem for us but worth noting that.

The staff was just not the type of hosts who make you feel welcome to their place, so to say. Examples include: the complete lack of information provided ahead of your stay, but many reminders of what not to do as well as when to check in/out and how much the city tax is are given in advance. The property has discounts to visit cinque terre, but they’re not particularly bothered to share them in advance for some reason. It just felt very transactional to stay there, check in.. pay.. check out.. not a question about how our stay was or what activities we did. Which, for a guesthouse, I would say it’s standard to at least offer or to the minimum, ask.
