Location, cleanliness, canal
The neighbors were smokers, and they were smoking right outside my lanai on the dock. No ones fault, I just didn't like it.

Es war alles da, was man brauchte, sogar ein Gasgrill mit Gasflasche! Auch der Checkin war super unkompliziert und komfortabel!
Leider hatten wir eine Baustelle nebenan, so das wir tagsüber die Unterkunft aufgrund des Lärms weniger nutzen konnten. Uns hat es nicht wirklich gestört, da wir unterwegs waren und es handelt sich ja auch nur um eine temporäre Angelegenheit.

I had to call property management because my wedding band fell off of the sink and went underneath of it into a space where I wasn't able to reach. I had to leave for the day to take my elderly father to an appointment and by the time I got back to the property, they had it on the counter for me. I was very appreciative of how quickly they responded and the actions they took to retrieve it for me.
I used the back screened in patio quite a lot every morning, watching the fish jumping in the canal. Even though there is an extreme amount of construction going on, it's still Matlacha and very calm/peaceful and beautiful.
The location was very close to my Elderly father, so it was very convenient to take care of him.
Not any fault to the property owners/management, but the house directly next door was torn down to the ground and no one was notified that this was going to take place. I made changes to my plans so that I wasn't in or around the property during this demolition.
