The Tarpon Suite is charming and we enjoyed our stay. Our only challenge was a problematic lock box. We came in after dark and luckily a neighbor helped us get into our unit. Matlacha is a hoot and the food at The Blue Dog was great!

Had never been to Matlacha or SW Florida. We really liked the neighborhood. Low key and fun. We had the entire complex to ourselves for several days, so the quiet was much appreciated. Pine island was lovely. Matlacha was centrally located for exploring both north and south.

The only downside to our stay was the bridge construction. Traffic and noise started around 9AM. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

Quiet suite right at the water. Great for those who love fishing! Walk out your door and cast your line anytime of the day or night. My husband cooked up his fresh catch in the kitchen and grilled steaks on the gas grill just outside the suite on the deck. Marcus was friendly and came by to introduce himself & chat. Place was clean, bed comfortable. We hope to visit Tarpon Suite again!Sherry & Brian
