1: bathroom towels were old and not pleasant 2. Not suitable with kids as sofa was not so comfortable for sleeping (personal opinion) 3: Our confirmed check-in window was 20:00–21:00. We arrived early, around 18:00, and were unable to locate the correct house number at the address provided in the booking. We attempted to contact the host by phone but received no answer, which we understood given the early arrival. We waited outside the address with our two young children, one of whom was visibly tired and unsettled. A neighbour noticed us waiting and, after a brief conversation, pointed us to the correct apartment, mentioning that the host’s own apartment was directly beside it. Based on this information, we decided to knock and ask whether an earlier check-in might be possible. The host responded by scolding my wife and me for knocking on the door. Following this, the hosts (a couple) argued loudly between themselves, using profanity, in front of our children. We want to be clear that we had received no check-in instructions from the host prior to 18:00, and we acted reasonably given the circumstances — waiting with two young children outside an address we could not confirm, with no response to our call.
