Super cute, clean, well-equipped, super pet-friendly, small apartment close to transit and access to city center and Lie

We had a wonderful stay at Ute’s cozy apartment in Aachen. The host's thoughtful touches really stood out, from the lots of cute, decorative details to the fully stocked fridge with wine and beer. The Wi-Fi was quick and responsive, which was a huge plus. It’s an ideal spot for pet owners thanks to the fenced-in backyard and easy ground-floor access, and the location is perfect—only 3 minutes from the train station and bus stops, plus a great pizza place right at the end of the street. While there is no oven, the kitchen is well-stocked with coffee, tea, spices, condiments, and an air fryer, providing everything you need to make a meal alongside the stovetop and microwave. Though the surrounding neighborhood could be a bit cleaner, the apartment itself was spotless and very well-equipped. Easy check-in. Highly recommend! Ute was very responsive and helped answer any questions. Would stay again if ever in the area! Thanks Ute!

The road construction outside the apartment (but not taking away anything from the apartment), and street parking was hard to find, even in the early morning.

Excellent stay

There was an array of teas and coffees and some complimentary beverage provided. The facilities were good and plenty of towels and toiletries. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Makes you want to come back. It is a short walk to the Rothe Arde train station and also to the bus stop to Monschau. There is a backyard garden which you can enjoy in summer but not during our stay

A very nice place to stay in Aachen with reasonable price

The apartment is very clean and the host is super friendly. We received free complementary drinks :) The sofabed was very comfortable as well. The kitchen is very well equipped.

What a gem

What was not to like? This apartment was absolutely fantastic very clean either everything you would need. The owners nit only left tea and coffee but also some soft drinks and wine. They even left some sealed pasta so you could easily make a meal. The sofa bed was so comfortable that I didn't feel like it wasn't a real bed.

Easy parking infront of the building, but we were lucky. Lovely garden. Clean. Pleasant host, good communication. 30 minutes walk to the pretty town centre.

Worn apartment and furniture, needs a lick of paint and a refresh. Mattress too soft to be comfortable, pillows with barely any cushioning. Overpowering air freshener smell. Drunks/drug addicts on nearby streets.

Exceptional

Expectations were set with already having good reviews, yet this apartment exceed all of them. From the get go, we felt welcomed by the owner, assuring us that whatever we need we just had to ask. We didn't have to ask, all was perfect. The apartment was one of the cleanest I've ever had the pleasure of staying in, kitchen and the rest was stocked up along with the mini-fridge underneath at the compliment of the owner. There is more little things to say that makes this place top notch, but I'm not an articulate one, so all in all, we highly recommend staying at the Chez Coco apartments.

Everything we needed and a few complimentary extras. Clean, adequately equipped. Peaceful, didn't hear the trains across the road at all. Will happily use again.

Great, efficient, beautiful apartment with a kitchen and garsen

Great apartment with everything you need. The garden access was a lovely bonus - complete with seating and a green lawn. Kitchen had all the basics. Host was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean.

There's no oven, but the host offered to put anything we needed oven-cooking in her oven if required. So not really an issue. The place was great.

Excellent stay

The appartment is quite comfortable and cosy. There is also a outdoor place/garden. There were refreshment drinks in the fridge, including beer and wine. Tea, coffee too. The kitchen equipment is excessive. You can cook if you want. Ute is really great. She even took care of packages which did not come in time and carried it to Vaals to our daugher student dormitory. Highly recommend.

Great base for a visit to Aachen

This is an excellent apartment for an Aachen stopover. Communication with the owner was timely and friendly. It was very convenient for the local Aachen Rothe-Erde railway station, and close to lots of different restaurants, takeaways and a supermarket. The apartment itself was nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable, Coffee and tea supplies provided, as were cold drinks. We were very happy we chose Chez Coco apartment one.

Highly recommended for 4 person family.

There were welcome drinks, bear, juice etc in the fridge. Also coffee, tea and everything you need. It was very clean and nicely decorated apartment.

It is not very convenient for 2 couples, it could be good enough for a 4 person family. Because the bedroom's door directly opening to the living room which has the sofa for other couple.

Great value for money!

The place was spotlessly clean and very well kitted out in regards to the kitchen. Definitely thought about what people would need for a stay of several days. Ute was a lovely accomodating host, and the garden was an added bonus for the dog. It felt very homey and there was attention paid to detail to make it a comfortable stay (couches, pillows outside, candle, comforter for if it gets chilly sitting outside).

It was a bit far to walk to the centre, especially after a full day of loitering around the city. But there are buses, so definitely not a showstopper.
