Very comfortable room and very good sized bathroom. Self service breakfast had every thing we needed in our own time. Location was perfect for our needs

Exceptional B&B within 5 mins. drive from Truro. Friendly welcome, very comfortable and clean.

Excellent continental breakfast which was left for me on a tray. I particularly liked the fresh yoghurt and frit. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Visitors have sole use of spacious modern bathroom adjoining bedroom.

Brilliant Truro B&B

Brilliant b&b very near Truro. Very clean and comfortable, off street parking, nice continental breakfast in the room, really enjoyed staying here, Lucy is a great host. Highly recommended.

Excellent facilities, really friendly family. Able to get all round Cornwall really easily. Continental breakfast was fine and at a convenient time.

Bath wasn't that easy to work, everything else was fine.

We enjoyed our two nights, perfect location for Truro.

On arrival difficult to gain entry(no doorbell) however, once contact made we were made to feel welcome. Room was not en-suite , screen available, which enabled walk to bathroom could not be observed. This could not be criticized as in balance everywhere was spotlessly clean. Good parking facilities.

Continental breakfast was do-it-yourself with facilities(kettle, toaster, and fridge) and food was laid out on the table. sadly, there was limited interaction, which may suit some people.

Cornish trip for Emily’s wedding

Really lovely place to stay. Rooms were super clean & comfortable .. Lucy went the extra mile ensuring our comfort. Nothing was too much trouble. Location great. Continental breakfast just perfect. Thank you Lucy .. we will definitely book again when we are visiting Cornwall ☺️

Very pleasant and welcoming hostess, and very comfortable place to stay, providing very good value.

The hostess, Lucy, was very friendly and was very welcoming and also ensured that we had everything required for our stay, we always had room to park and finding Ashwood was quite easy. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations and was available at the time of your choice. The bathroom, although not en-suite, was very close and was our own private bathroom and very spacious. with lovely hot shower and choice of toiletries. Everything was clean and well presented. We would stay there again.

The only criticism is the danish pastries, these were not the best!

A most enjoyable stay, very welcoming host.

Host was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities in room were great with kettle and fridge containing real milk for tea (not UHT) and two free bottles of water. The large bathroom was amazing, very modern with a powerful shower.

Would prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning, but seeing as breakfast was included can't complain too much. Other than this it was perfect for our requirements.

Lovely modern bungalow in a quiet spot. First class accommodation. Large well equipped shower/ bathroom. Plenty of towels. Useful tea/coffee-making facility in room also a fridge and microwave. Lucy and Danny , the hosts, were very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The continental breakfast served on a tray to have in the room suited me. I shall return.

Top quality experience

This wonderful venue should certainly be at the top of your list if you are looking for a base near the cornish capital of Truro. An amazing place, within easy reach of Newquay, St Ives, Falmouth and surrounding areas. Our room was modern, immaculately presented and clean. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in whilst travelling and a private bathroom to die for. Lucy and Danny were perfect hosts. Always cheerful and enquiring about our plans for the day. A continental breakfast was served each morning in the lovely breakfast room, all items of great quality and delicious. Don't think about it, just book. We will certainly be back to repeat our amazing experience.

Breakfast was good- very much in line with the description. Fresh fruit was a particular bonus. The hostess was pleasant and helpful; she made us feel welcome. The room was comfortable; the bathroom was next door to the bedroom and was beautifully arranged, with an excellent shower and a separate bath. We'd certainly stay there again if we were in that area.

Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete, saubere Zimmer, auch das Badezimmer war super. Der Frühstückstisch war jeden Morgen schön gedeckt. Truro bzw. Shortlanesend liegt recht zentral in Cornwall, wir konnten viel unternehmen.

Nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt - das Schuhregal im Eingangsbereich passt nicht zum Rest - sorry Lucy.
