great house to visit Ambleside and all the beautiful surroundings
excellent location, very comfortable house, beautifully decorated, everything works great. Two parking spots in the middle of town by the house was great. access to many different walks and many shops and cafes and restaurants.
no sugar, salt, pepper, coffee or a tea bag nor anything else in the kitchen in terms of supplies, and very limited loo rolls in the bathrooms . TV is too big for the room but we managed!

Fabulous property in a good location no complaints , we were a group of 4 couples each with a car and a thing to take into consideration is parking as only spaces for 2 cars apart from that excellent place to stay +++++

Very good and comfortable stay with excellent location
The property location is excellent at the centre of Ambleside village right next to cafes and restaurants. It has 4 spacious bedrooms - 3 with attached bath+toilet, 1 with bath+toilet right at its door (that is also like attached) and a small toilet at the ground floor (yes, it has 4.5 bathroom contrary to the listing). The living + dining also has good space for 8 people (though not huge). The overall house has good furniture and is quite comfortable with spacious bedrooms. The property also has 3 parking spaces (listing has only 2 mentioned), where you can park 2 big (SUV sized cars) and a mid-sized car. You can park only 2, if one of the cars is very long, as 2 of the slots are one behind the other.
Though the house was overall clean, bathroom tissues are the only toiletry provided. There were no soaps in the bathrooms (even no handwash soaps), no dishwashing tabs for the dishwasher or any soap for the laundry. The house was overall very clean, but we noticed few unclean utensils in the kitchen and used coffee tabs still kept there. But, these points are just minor feedback. The positive points that I mentioned above far outweigh the negative ones.
