Lovely and relaxing stay in a quiet village near the beach and forest.
A lovely, well-appointed 2 bedroom cottage with a nice outdoor space. Close to the beach and Dunwich forest, and an easy drive to Southwold and Aldeburgh. A fantastic place to unwind.
Only two minor issues - we couldn't get all the exterior French doors in the living space open as some had jammed locks (but we were able to open enough to ensure lovely airflow). The one bedroom had a large window but no heavy drape, so the sun comes in quite early. A heavy drape could be added. But neither greatly detracted from our holiday.

Lovely stay, very spacious for dogs. Perfect location and would stay again.
Great location, spacious and perfect for walking the coastal path and visiting the many nearby attractions. 2 minute walk to a fabulous pub and lots of footpaths from the property. Very dog friendly and they don’t charge extra for dogs. Secure garden to front and additional outer fence for extra safety. Bed comfortable ( bring your own pillow if you like a soft one ) and plenty of hot water in the showers. Underfloor heating works very well!
Had an issue with fridge smell, needed cleaning out at back, but this was sorted quickly by the owner. Would have liked more cleaning materials available for us to clear the smell properly. It’s an old barn conversion, and you do get ants coming in. Not a problem for us, but wasn’t sure if the traps put down were safe for dogs. Some plastic food boxes would be useful to stop them eating our cakes, which we had to throw away! Maybe needs a bit of TLC / deep clean of the kitchen appliances but overall was good.
