Amazing location surrounded by National Trust Land with very rare birds (Stone Curlews, Nightingales and Nightjars). Very interesting house too which was easy to keep cool during the May heat wave. Felt like a much-loved family home with books, games and equipment to use indoors, on the beach, and in the garden. Nice individual personal touches provided by the owner
Cleaning pack provided by management company was very meagre and penny-pinching - just one dishwasher tablet, few toilet rolls, only one rubbish bag, the tiniest of dishcloths etc. Wifi very variable and unusable when the next-door large property was also occupied and using the rural bandwidth. Very high spec. gas BBQ but, sadly, we were unable to connect the gas bottle - may need attention.
