The perfect short break away.

Excellent location, great breakfast every morning, lovely walk to nearby hotel for dinner or to the beach.

The weather wasn't great, but we still had a wonderful break away.

We stayed in Nightingale, which was a lovely clean room with everything we needed.

The only thing we felt was missing was a mirror in the main room to be able to dry our hair.

Wonderful weekend getaway

What a lovely and beautiful property. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great location along the Suffolk Coast Path. Breakfast was excellent. Host was very kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay there next time we're in the area.

Fab room, lovely size, beautiful decor. Bath was amazing. Hosts really helpful and happy to help. Breakfast choice was very good. Cosy homely rustic but with modern touches. Had a beautifully relaxing few days. Would definitely return

A lovely B & B in a great location. Can absolutely recommend.

Dingle Barns was easy to find with plenty of parking available. It was in a great location - only a short walk from the beach and within walking distance of other places of interest. There is a pub nearby with a wide selection of meals. The room was very attractive, quiet, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were available with little extras e.g. bottled water and milk in the fridge plus biscuits and a selection of teas. The host was really welcoming and approachable. The breakfast was delicious. Cooked to perfection.

There was nothing to fault! Everything was well thought out and made the stay very enjoyable despite the inclement weather. (It was December!)

A gorgous stay away! Perfect retreat for a peaceful stay away and a reset. Amanda our host was lovely and welcoming, the room was well thought through with a cosy feel and a great set up with plenty of nice little touches to finish it off. Our only regret was only booking the one night !

Long weekend in Dunwich

The room was really well appointed with lovely additions like luxury toiletries, fresh milk, a range of bottled water, and all types of teas and coffees. The bed was large and very comfortable, and at night there was zero light pollution. The Full English Breakfast was really lovely with really good quality ingredients. Amanda the owner was a lovely lady who greeted us in person and was an exceptional host throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back to Dingle Barns!

Very spacious and cosy room. Comfy bed. Perfect location for heading straight out on beachy walks or driving further afield to explore Suffolk. Delicious breakfast.

Beautiful environment. Amazing spacious, classy, and comfortable room. Extremely clean with quality fittings and furniture. All the staff courteous, professional and welcoming. Breakfast fabulous. Beautiful accommodation in a lovely area

Breakfast good but rather limited choice. No fruit, yogurt, croissants, limited cereals etc. Location was excellent. This is an ongoing development we understand and if the outside area matches the high quality of the accommodation this will be a suburb destination

A very enjoyable couple of nights, and I would certainly return if in the area.

The property has been very tastefully repurposed to create these bedrooms. The SatNav directions worked well, although drivers should be aware that the local roads are very narrow. If visitors plan to walk to the local pub in the village (The SHip - highly recommended) a torch is a necessity as there are no street lights! Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, only slight disappointment is that it was only available from 08:00 and when I mentioned that I needed to leave before 08:00 on my last day, no offer of an early option. I appreciate that 99.9% of visitors are probably holidaymakers, but a desk or table to rest a laptop would have been a good addition to the room.

The location is wonderful, the rooms are newly renovated & high spec but housekeeping an issue.

Lovely room, but on very hot nights we couldn’t open the bedroom window as it was nailed shut. On asking we were told ‘that’s what the fan is for’. We quickly realised however that it was because there was a wasp nest under the thatch outside the window. The breakfast was excellent, especially on the first morning of our 2 night stay. The lady serving was delightful.

See above, not being able to open the window. It was extremely hot in the room. Also we were surprised that the room was not tidied or cleaned on the first morning of our 2 night stay. We’d used the cups to make tea and our dirty cups were left & disgusting by the time we returned that evening. We thought clean cups at least could have been provided, especially at £160 per night.

Quiet and peaceful There was an outside area to sit in the sun

Outside area needed a bit of TLC The breakfast was all table service. I prefer to help myself to juice, fruit and cereal. This had to be requested and we were not fully informed of the options available.

Calming and tasteful quality Dunwich experience

We booked a couple of rooms to join another family couple in a locale we know well. Dingle Marsh Barns proved the best B&B accommodation we’ve stayed in Dunwich over the past 20yrs. We had the upper barn space - Barn Owl. Beautifully converted and comfortably appointed with double views to the church and sea, and to the north. The in-room bath was a luxury after scenic walks and a cycle. The staff team were hugely friendly throughout and went the extra mile in easily accommodating our bikes. Following a quality well-cooked breakfast, it was a pleasant walk via the new RSPB footbridges to the beach. After 40yrs of fond memories of visiting Dunwich it was a joy to add that of Dingle Marsh Barns to those.

Nothing to dislike, it isn't the cheapest accommodation but the price reflects the standard of accommodation so if you have a bit extra to spend it's well well worth it.
