Ty Tywod (pronounced 'Tea Toe-wod') is a great-value family cottage in Rhosneigr, full of personality, a little bit retro, and just a few minutes' walk from the sea.
It's spacious, bright, and packed with charm. Funky artwork, original floorboards, and colourful touches give this home a relaxed, lived-in vibe. It's ideal for families looking for space, comfort, and easy-going beach days, without paying premium prices. Downstairs, you'll find two large king-size bedrooms, each with its own unique flair, plus a family bathroom with an electric shower. The lounge is spacious and social, with two big sofas and plenty of room to relax, chat, or watch TV. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for prepping simple meals or packing beach picnics, and there's a utility room and kit room for sandy stuff and soggy wetsuits.
Upstairs is a twin bedroom, separate loo, and a brilliant 'den' space with a Smart TV, a perfect little retreat for kids or teens.
Outside, the garden is safe and enclosed, with a bench table and chairs for breakfasts or evening drinks. It hasn't had the gardener's magic touch just yet, but it's secure, spacious, and super practical.
With parking for 3 - 4 cars and the beach just around the corner, Ty Tywod is proof that you don't need to spend a fortune to enjoy a great seaside stay.
