About this house rental

This homely property is on 3 floors and is ideal for extended family gatherings or a group of friends. You can step from the garden onto the beach for a beach stroll, longer beach walk or to take part in watersports. BBQ with a seaside view or wander 100m to the choice of restuarants, cafes, pubs and shops. Surfing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, windsurfing and horseriding lessons all available here. You can also park your own sailing dinghy on the beach in front of the house. Golf and the Anglesey Coastal Path are also nearby, as is the Sea Zoo, Children's Farm, Anglesey Sea Salt, Beaumaris Castle, the South Stacks Lighthouse, beautiful Newborough beach and forest; and many more beaches around Anglesey for picnics and paddling. For the active, there is also Snowdonia Mountain Park for walking, the indoor climbing centre; and so the list goes on - no shortage of things to do!
Ground floor: games room/second lounge with pool table, tv, dvd and games, overlooking the bay with bay window. Wetroom with 2 showers, toilet and wetsuit hanging rail - perfect for showering straight from activities in the sea. Plenty of hot water available! Superking double or twin bedroom with basin. Utility room with washing machine and dryer.
First floor: spacious open-plan kitchen with dishwasher, dining area and lounge, overlooking the bay with bay window. Ideally situated for gazing at the beach, sea and watersports as well as the tranquil sunsets. Tv, dvds, wifi. Bathroom. Superking double bedroom.
Second floor: main superking double bedroom, ensuite walk-in shower with separate bath, (ensuite toilet separately)both the main bedroom and ensuite overlook the bay.
1 superking double or twin bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over the bath.
Front south west facing terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Space to park 2 cars. Lawn goes up to the sea wall and steps to the beach. Back patio with seating and rear parking for 1 car.
Bedding and towels included. Please bring your own beach towels. Children welcome. Travel cot and highchair available. 1 dog considered. No smoking.
Changeover is on Saturday except for Christmas/ New Year bookings.
Main rental season is May - August, plus Christmas and New Year. Availability outside of this period may be possible if the owner is not using the property.

The property is in the most amazing setting, right on the beach. Along with the huge lounge windows, the views are spectacular. The house is on the 3 floors, 5 bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and well equipped for a beach holiday. The dogs were welcomed, but we made sure to bring throws and covers for the furniture and kept them out of the bedrooms and in their crates at night to be respectful. Melissa replies quickly to any messages and was very helpful. This is not our first visit or our last, hopefully.

View from the living room window took our breath away, the pictures on line don't do it justice. Rooms very spacious for 7 adults and a dog and kitchen fully equipped. Location of property is perfect, private access to beach, beaches immaculate, plenty of watersports available to try at the hire shop on your doorstep. Also enjoyable to watch from the window. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area 30 minutes drive. Local eating places (in walking distance) are all good and a handy corner shop. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return/recommend.

We were highly impressed with the property, the size, layout, cleanliness and facilities. It was perfect for our family holiday with group ages ranging from 86 down to 4. The position is incredible and being able sit in the large bay window watching the kite surfers and wind surfers was brilliant.

We were incredibly lucky that COVID restrictions were lifted just in time for our stay at this lovely property. The location is amongst the finest you'll find, essentially on the beach itself. The home's large windows give panoramic views around the entire bay and, with a west-facing aspect, superb sunsets every evening are heavenly. The property is huge, spacious and very comfortable. Whilst it's true that some of the furniture could use modernisation, and it's a shame that the hot tub can't be used, these are relatively small things that don't detract from the incredible property. The ground floor wet room and shower is essential give you can step off the sand into the front door! The small town of Rhosneigr offered loads of takeaways and amenities, even in a state of partial lockdown, and the daily aerobatics from RAF Valley were a job! The host was always on hand to answer questions, and was extremely accommodating. A superb location, and property, and my family would love to return.

The location and facilities of this property were ideal for our family. Plenty of space for all to spread out and no shortage of crockery, utensils and facilities in the kitchen Our only complaint was that the property could have been cleaner, it appeared to be a bit lacking in care. We realise that with the Covid problems it probably hadn’t been used for a while but there were one or two amenities that weren’t working, such as the Xbox for the kids and the water filter in the fridge. We were warned that books and games wouldn’t be available because of Covid but there were a few resources still in the property. Overall we had a great week and would be happy to return .

We enjoyed stay in property as well equipped and spacious. Magnificent views over coastline. Handy parking outside. We had fantastic weather and able to eat out in garden as plentiful furniture. Neighbours advised weather not always this good. Great for sea swimming once or twice a day. Local shops helped out our needs & got click & collect Waitrose delivery. Only ate out couple of times, due to still testing out due to Covid. Handy local beach bar.

From the moment we arrived we relaxed. Walking on the beach and dunes, watching the kite and windsurfers and the sailing regattas either from the picture window or the grass front. The teenagers spent their time checking wave height and wind to head out on boards surf and windsurf at the optimal moment for their levels. The wet room was a god send on their return, also for our sandy digging dog. We spent most of the time on the beach and in/on the sea - according to an Apple Watch covering about 173km in the fortnight. Many meals we ate at the house but thoroughly recommend Hooked In for supper, Quiz night on Thursday at Y Morfa, lunch at Sandy Mount Hotel and pancakes at Mojos. We also discovered that Mojos does morning baking for take out, crossiants, pain au chocolate and baguettes. Some did the Velocity zip wire, which they loved and for a full tasting menu treat the adults went to Marram Grass restaurant just 25 mins away. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen and living space well equipped and great. We will definitely be back.

The house is beautifully situated but we had a few issues during our stay. Wardrobes with feet missing,doors that wouldn't open and only 3 hangers in double room downstairs. Bath towels but no hand towels only flannels. Kitchen and lounge lovely and well equiped. Overall can recommend.

Overall, it was a very comfortable house, in a beautiful location, and we enjoyed great weather! All together we had a very enjoyable family holiday! Regarding the property, the rooms are spacious, and we were pleased with the comfort and the layout. The kitchen especially was roomy and great to use! From the lounge (and front bedroom) the views were really good, and on our last day, when the weather was a little windier than it had been, it gave us a grandstand seat to watch the kite surfers! The convenience is great! The table at the front of the house was well used in the afternoon's/evenings. That the beach is a 20 metre walk away was just FANTASTIC. There were pleasant walks from the house (in each direction). That there is a general store, a surf-hire shop, a good chip shop and a pizzeria within 100m made it VERY convenient, and gave us no excuse to use the car! It was a property we loved for our extended family break, and we will be back! Thank you

Beautiful location with just a few steps to the dog friendly beach. For a village there was a very good choice of bars and restaurants, again lots very accommodating to the doggy patrons . There were nine adults plus dogs, and the beach house suited us very well with plenty of room and bathrooms, the downstairs wet room was a great addition, helping to keep the sand downstairs. We all enjoyed a perfect beach holiday made heavenly by a mini heat wave! The neighbours were friendly and willing to chat , it was a very friendly community. We all agreed that we would return and even looked at local house prices !

We had a lovely stay at Rhosneigr and couldn't have asked for more. The views from the house take in the whole bay and really are stunning. We were a party of 10, but the house never felt too small or crowded as the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. Even when everyone got back from swimming in the sea and wanted to shower and warm up quickly, there were no problems as there were three showers and wet room. The surroundings are also lovely, and we went for several really nice walks, as well as swimming in the sea and exploring the many small rocky islands by canoe. In short, I would highly recommend.

The property was excellent and homely and offered us all we needed to enjoy a wonderful and restful family holiday. The changing views from the living room were spectacular and much enjoyed by the adults. Our three grandchildren particularly enjoyed having the use of the games room and were thrilled that the beach was but a stone's throw away.
