First impressions - an amazing historic home that took us to images of the 12th century. Large yard and fenced- in/gated property. SO much room for more people that we had in our group. While this fit our family of 5 adults and one baby very well, we didn't know from the original listing that the property was still being renovated. As such, some of the spaces have unfinished surfaces while other spaces have clearly been done. Cleanliness in this home is difficult due to some of the incomplete spaces and simple challenges of maintaining such a historic home. For example, the huge and impressive front doors do not fully seal around the edges, allowing wind, dust, and cobwebs easy entry. My adult kids loved this space and we all were captivated with wondering more about the history of this site. Great access for a short drive to Lourdes and the foothills of the Pyranees. Management was very responsive to questions. Check-in would be easier if the check-in and procedure manual were available in English and other languages for international travelers.
