About this apartment rental
Ocean House #1604 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 6th floor in building I overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1000 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower.
Ocean House I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor pool and a small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23. King, Twins, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6.
Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at the guard house or office located in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and the cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

The condo seems to be run by a large management company, but we had no problems. Great location with balcony right on the beach. No problems with parking. Beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. There were extra linens and pillows. They supplied the condo with one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, one travel size dish soap, two dishwasher pods, and one laundry detergent pod, so hand soap was the only immediate item we needed to buy. I was surprised the kitchen was missing a few key items. We could not find a drain board for dishes, oven mitts/pot holders, or storage containers. There was no pantry space. For anyone else who is sensitive to chemicals, there was a Febreze air freshener that I had to seal in a freezer bag and place on the balcony because the smell was so strong. The condo smells just fine without it. I would give five stars but the kitchen frustrated me because we booked a condo for the full kitchen to accommodate our dietary restrictions. It would be more than enough for those who will mostly eat out, but we mostly cook in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We absolutely loved the view and convenience of being steps away from the beautiful white sand beaches. Jelly fish were a bit of a nuisance in the water but that comes with ocean fun!

Overall the property was very clean and spacious! Walk to the beach was closer than any other location we have stayed at before! Overall an amazing stay and one of our new favorite places to stay!
