Crazy Joe’s Cabin#1 and Hickey House
Located in Shawnee National Forest 2miles off Rt 151 just south of Ava, Ill
Fishing ,hunting, hiking all nearby. Kincaid Lake boat ramp 2 miles.
Great for 2 or 3 adults to get away to relax. Not suitable for small children. Free wi-fi. Cook in cabin or bbq on gas grill.
Dollar General 4 miles north in Ava.
Located at end of parking lot of Crazy Joe’s FishHouse along tree line.
Fish House is open at 4pm Wed, Fri and Sat
The space
Living room with single size futon sleeper, recliner. Smart tv, WiFi and DVD player with a few dvds.
Full kitchen with microwave range, frig. All cooking and serving supplies including tea coffee sugar sweetner, Salt and pepper shakers. Just bring the food.
Sliding barn door separates bedroom from kitchen—queen size bed , dresser, and smart tv.
Bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer. Shower stall.
BBQ grill and fire pit

It was a great place to unwind and have a fire. There was ample amounts of wood. It was peaceful and relaxing. Exactly what I wanted for the weekend. The cabin was really cool. It smelled like wood. It has a front porch to sit on which I loved. The restaurant next door is really good too. It's very close to kinkaid and the Shawnee national Forest so if I wanted to there was plenty to do. But I wanted to chill and this was perfect.

Property was just as described. The cabin was clean and very well stocked and organized. Bathrroom had towels, soaps, and paper. Kitchen had everything one would need to cook. Two TVs had internet and plenty of channels. Crazy Joe's is an absolute must to eat at.

Beautiful cabin close to Kincaid lake and hiking in the Shawnee National Forrest. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and and eating at Crazy Joes Fish House restaurant.
