About this house rental
Charming 1925 brick 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house, with an office. This house is within walking to many restaurants, Houck Stadium, Escape Cape, bars, down town Cape Girardeau, and the Mighty Mississippi. Also, just a short 5 minute drive to SEMO , the Show Me Center, and Century Casino. 5.4 miles from Sportsplex.

One car off street parking. On street parking as available.
Great back yard for sitting and taking in the beautiful wisteria, and other plants, and a great little front deck to watch the street views.
Please note that there is no true dining room table. It does have a dining island, and we have a TV trays available. There is a folding table and 4 folding chairs available if needed. There are out door only cameras for security. The basement is not accessible to guest.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is perfect when you need extended family for SEMO events. We love this house, and this time they made it feel extra special with the Christmas decorations. I thought that was a great touch! We will always hope this is available when we need the extra space.

The house served us well for a short stay to explore Cape Girardeau. It was clean and centrally located. It is a tastefully renovated older home that retained the atmosphere of it's era; creaky wood floors, small rooms and old style plumbing. It was tight when preparing and serving meals. We had breakfast at this home and ate larger meals at restaurants. I would rate it higher, but felt it would be unfair to other, upscale VRBO properties we have rented.
