We loved the breakfast and the pool. Also there always a spa we liked. The staff was very nice and we played uno in the evening. Our room was nice and the views were incredible. If you’re okay with driving (30 min) inside the city of Sa Pa this place is perfect for you.

We couldn’t use the pool in the first evening because they cleaned it. The location is a little tricky. You need to walk the last 5 minutes to the place. If it looks like your lost, you’re on the right path.

The view around the property is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. There is a lot of space, and the ecolodge itself is not small. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the food from the restaurant was also good. The staff were polite. The bungalow looked cozy.

I knew in advance that this place was far from central Sapa, and since we had a motorbike, it was not a big problem for us. However, once you turn off the main road, you have to ride for about 7 minutes on a very rough road. Just thinking about that road made us not want to return to the bungalow at first 😄. Although, by the end of our stay, we got used to it. After exploring Sapa more, you start to understand that many places are like this - it is the mountains, after all. When we arrived, we were told that there would be construction work and noise starting from 10 a.m. Nobody had warned us about this in advance. In good places, this kind of information is usually mentioned before arrival. In our case, it did not really affect us, but still, it should have been communicated. Also, the welcome drink was given only to our child, not to the adults. It is a small thing, but I noticed it. The water in the room was provided in a glass bottle, and it was unclear where it came from or how it had been filled. You also cannot take it with you. For us, this was a downside. Right after arrival, we went to the pool. Unfortunately, it was dirty, with many insects in it. It was also quite shallow, and swimming there was not enjoyable. After that, we did not use the pool again. There were only two sets of towels in the bungalow, even though there were three of us. Also, be prepared that the electricity may cut off, and you may need to switch it back on yourself. The electrical panel is located inside the bungalow. In our case, we put our phones on charge overnight, but the electricity went off, so in the morning our phones were still low on battery. Nature is very close - literally inside and around your bungalow. That is part of the experience, and it is okay, but I personally got badly bitten at night. At breakfast, some of the transparent glasses had mold on them, and once the milk for coffee was sour.
