Great views, great staff. Shout out to Candy and Chin Chin whose friendliness really made our stay. Bit out of town so transport can be expensive but cheap scooter hire available from the hotel. Would definitely recommend

We had such a great stay at The Trekker’s Homestay that we ended up extending our stay by another 3 nights! If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic place in the Ta Van area, this is it. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with good hot showers and everything you need. Breakfast is included with a choice of different options, and the food in general was really good. The extended time we stayed in the second house, about 200m from the main house. It was built only a couple of years ago, so it feels fresh, nice and bright. Our room at the back faced a beautiful natural stone wall and was very quiet. The best part is definitely the atmosphere. Little Luna, Chin Chin, her parents and the whole team, even cute dog Bonbon are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home. We especially loved the family dinners every evening, sitting together with other guests and sharing delicious home-cooked food. It’s also a great place if you’re travelling with kids—very family-friendly and welcoming, but still calm and peaceful. The location is great too: surrounded by nature, slightly outside Ta Van but still close enough to explore the village and the surrounding area. I was traveling alone with my son, and we loved meeting other travelers. We already can’t wait to come back!
