My stay was deeply disappointing, with poor hygiene, unfinished repairs, and overall standards far below what was advert
The location was perfect
My stay at this property (23–26 December) was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standard advertised as a “premium short stay” accommodation. Key concerns are: • Strong unpleasant smell throughout the apartment on arrival, making the space uncomfortable to stay in. • Unfinished repairs and poor maintenance, including multiple unpainted filler patches on bedroom walls and visible wear, giving the property a neglected condition. • Unhygienic mattresses, with visible staining and no mattress protectors provided. This was particularly concerning as my daughter developed itching after sleeping on the bed. • Dirty toilets with severe limescale staining, creating an impression of poor cleaning and hygiene standards. • Extremely dirty and unusable oven, which was particularly problematic as this was a Christmas stay and we needed to cook. • Repeated contact encouraging me to extend my stay, despite an active formal complaint, which felt inappropriate and unreasonable. Given the severity of these issues, the property did not match the standard promoted or the price paid. I have photographic evidence of all points raised and I do not consider the £50 “goodwill gesture” offered to me by the property management company to be a fair or appropriate resolution. I am requesting a more appropriate level of compensation to reflect the unacceptable condition and experience

Avoid like the plague!
It was on a bus route.
-writing on the walls - shelves half repaired but still hanging off the wall -patches of unfinished diy patching in -chairs not fully put together with screws half in - dangerous slippy rug in the kitchen -2/3 blinds in the flat were completely broken, you could not open them at all. -chair with table in the main bedroom broken -bathroom lock was hanging off with half exposed screws - not a single facility for a toddler to sleep or eat, although advertised as children stay free! -max 4 sleep, 1 armchair that was stained and wobbling. Your kitchen, dining room and lounge are all in one room. It’s tiny! -cream carpets are filthy, marks all over them throughout -top floor bedroom is impossible to walk around due to sloppy ceilings -generally dirty, not sure who’s cleaning this for the £120 cleaning fee 🫣 -major issues getting in, it took 20 minutes standing with a toddler, 4 messages and 2 phone calls to just get in. Only to find the above 🫠. -communication was patchy. I raised all the above issues with supporting evidence (photographs) and they said they would keep me updated and do everything they can to sort it. They did neither. -I stated if it was not able to be fixed, I’d stay the night as it was late but would find somewhere else. I wasn’t kept updated, assumed that no news was good news. Came back from a long day hoping at least basic issues would be fixed but nothing has been done. Never complained about a single place I’ve stayed, but this was beyond. I wouldn’t stay in the flat nor use accommodation that uses the property management company again. Plenty more photos!

Good location and clean.
Clean, good location. Comfortable bed
Very flimsy decor- bathroom lock falling off, bedside table falling off, broken blind cords. Most things provided like towels, cutlery and mugs/bowls, cleaning spray but make sure to bring your own bin bags, tea towels, dishwashing tablets, cleaning cloths if you’re going to use the kitchen at all.

Complete Rip Off!
Close to where we wanted to be
We stayed another night and the company charged £120 admin fee to stay another night plus the rate….disgusting but had no option. Also we had to take the bins out and asked to clean the property and leave it in the condition it was found. We also had to pay £150 for a cleaner!! Also when we arrived we could access the property due to the smart lock not working and an hour wait to get help…..terrible company.

Great place, clean comfortable and convenient.
Good location not to far from the city centre and on a bus route. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Great to have 3 bathrooms as well.
The door key pad is a digital one and is a bit fiddly to get it to light up with the key pad. It took us a while to get in the first night. It’s secure and safe though.

Nice enough flat, but there were a few problems
Great location for us, with good broadband and fully equipped kitchen All in all a pleasant enough place, with all mod cons, but needs more attention to detail
The sofa (actually a sofa bed), was incredibly uncomfortable - not sure anyone from the owners or letting agency has ever sat on it. As we were there for work, we wanted to sit in during the evenings, and the only other seats were tall bar chairs - not great for two 60 year olds. There were only two small towels on arrival for the week, but this was dealt with within a couple of days, with more provided. However, there were no dish cloths or tea towels. Although there was enough cutlery/crockery for three (and we were only two), this meant the dishwasher was wastefully being run half empty. It all seemed a bit stingy - some generosity would not go amiss in all areas, really, to create a better impression.

Very nice apartment. Would definitely stay again
Good kitchen and spacious enough for two people. Good shower
Storage for clothes.
