Casa do Terreiro by An Island Apart

Prachtige locatie en mooi authentiek huis. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf en zouden het zeker aanraden aan gezinnen of vrienden die samen reizen.

De bedden waren aan de kleine kant. Maar we hadden voor de rest alles wat we nodig hadden. De keuken rook bij aankomst naar gas maar de gasfles werd de dag zelf nog vervangen.

L'emplacement en bordure de mer est très bien. Le jardin et la terrasse sur le toit sont fantastiques.

Le micro onde ne fonctionne pas, le lave-vaisselle est abîmé. Pas de sèche-linge Pas d'aspirateur

For us, one of the best accomodation we could imagine. We were there as two families with children, spending 12 days there. Property is spacious, with large living room and a huge garden where children could play (from the avocado tree, we have eaten just avocados which fell down ripe overnight, which still led to much more avocados we could ever eat). Roof terrace with clif view was also amasing. Swimming pool few hundred meters away with almost free entry (2.5 EUR for adult, 1 EUR for children) was also very nice to have for a short afternoon swim after the levada walks. The appartment is not like a modern appartment with brand new everything, the equipment is by no means cheep, it is just becoming older. But we liked even this, as there is a touch of hfeel of traditional local house.

We just liked it there, dishwaser and some details were older, but functional, we did not mind and enjoyed the avocados.

Really big rooms, spacious living room and dining room. Tons of outside space. Gorgeous views from the sea and the cliffs.

The house is humid but there’s not much you can do as it’s on an island. Make sure your car is not too wide if you want to park in the courtyard, as the entrance is pretty tight.
