The Millas Hostel

Booked 2 nights to watch the FIVB Men's World Championships at Araneta Coliseum. I am literally the only customer they had during my stay. Breakfast is the best.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Millas Hostel! I was informed that the hostel is not yet fully operational so I got assigned to a mixed room all by myself. They had complete basic necessities. I stayed for a night only. They served free breakfast too which comes w/ the accommodation. The have a cafe in the ground floor which is very cozy. Shoutout to Mam Ligaya for going extra miles to accommodate me especially during breakfast. Will definitely go back again when it’s fully operational! Thank you!

Best hostel in Cubao. The aesthetics and cleanliness is on point. It is only a 5 minute walk to Araneta City, which is beneficial for those who will be attending a concert in New Frontier or the famous Araneta Coliseum. It also comes with complimentary breakfast. With all these being said, you definitely get more bang for your buck. Recommendable!

I was scheduled to attend a concert last November 30 and had to look up a place which was near the venue (New Frontier Theater) while at the same fits my budget as a solo traveler. I saw this place in Agoda and saw a some good reviews that it was near that said venue thus I decided to book it. When I arrived for check in, I was confused since no one was on the counter that I had to go to the second floor. It was probably the owner that rushed to tell me that he will be doing the check in process and explained later that the place was only soft launched. I was even more surprised when I was assigned to a one room of 10 bunk beds to myself as there was no one was checked in that time. It was quite eerie for me as I was totally alone in such a big room but nevertheless, I told myself that at least I got more than what I was expecting. Inside the room, there was a storage locker, a decent shower room and toilet and the air-conditioning did its job very well. I had no problems with the bed and the pillow was soft enough to sleep. There were no keycards (as of the moment since they have just soft launched) so you either have to coordinate with the owner or the security guard if you need to have your room’s door opened. The security guard was also very helpful. There was also a massage chair in the 3rd floor common area which I enjoyed using. The other good thing also about this place is that a café, which has the same management with this place, is located downstairs for your free breakfast and coffee cravings. Overall, this place went above and beyond my expectations and I highly recommend it if you have any things to do around the Cubao area (also near the Cubao MRT station). I enjoyed my stay!
