Charlotte Cottage - Minutes from Poole Park, with Feature Log Burner

Nice, modern property. Very good facilities. Smart Tv. Parking at side, enclosed garden. Close proximity to Poole Park which is wonderful , and town. Lovely fresh linens and towels inc 'beach' towels.

Only niggles : Garden looked bigger in photos and is a little difficult to find along 1- way back street. After opening front door on arrival subsequently had problems opening it thereafter. Had to use back door which isnt a problem , just remember to leave light on and remember gate code. No oven glove meant soiling a tea towel and burning fingers.

A beautiful three cottage well laid out, a really high spec with all the amenities.

Nice kitchen, attractive lounge. 10 mins walk to Poole Park (advert suggests it's closer).

We had to get maintenance in twice. The first night the heating in the lounge was set to 17 degrees and there was no way of changing this and no instructions left. We tried calling the agent and booking.com agent and neither were available as it was out of hours. It was a windy night so very cold - no compensation offered which would have been nice. The property was VERY hard to find. Google took us to the wrong street and even when we got to the right street the house numbers are all over the place. No logs! The advert made a big thing about the log burner but no matches, kindling, or wood was left so it wasn't useable - what a con. Settee looked nice, but VERY squishy with NO support, very uncomfortable. Toilet rolls were supposed to be included but not enough left for the time we were there. Beds hard and bedding too small so sheets on single beds were constantly untucked as was the bed protector. No on-suite (but this was in the advert) Bathroom tiny but shower great.
