Appartamento Lago Blu - Como

Lago Blue Apartment is located on the 5th floor of a residential building. The view from the unit was a standout feature and the AC system worked well, which was appreciated. The apartment is in very close proximity to the port, and the surrounding area felt safe during our stay. We did encounter an issue during our visit, but the host addressed it and provided a gift, which was a nice gesture. Overall, it was a good stay

The bathroom door felt unstable and nearly came off due to loose, aging hinges, which was concerning. We also noticed visible dirt marks around the switches and on door frames suggesting the unit could use more thorough upkeep thorough out. The sofa bed cover is torn and likely needs replacing. Even the basic supply containers were dirty and need better attention. Overall, the main concern was the general upkeep of the unit. With some attention to repairs and maintenance, this place could be much improved.

The room is big

The smell of sofa is very uncomfortable. We are group of 4, the owner offered us a sofa in living room with 1 another bed for 4 people sleeping, and of course we will not use that sofa. I think the owner need to change it asap and think of the way of washing the sofa’s cover after every stay. The smell of house at the first time we arrived is also weird, I had to open all windows for ventilation. The owner did not send us instructions for checking in advance, he asked me to add his whatsapp in order for him to send instructions, we were on the way of our trip so we did not do it immediately. At the time we arrived, at around 7 pm, I called him and he sent video instruction, just think that in case we could not reach him at that time. I think it is better if he decribes every thing in words and send via booking message some days before guest’s arrival, this is the way all other owners always do including checking time of tentative arrival of guest, it is also decribed that you have enough care of your guests. Guests can check any time which is convinient for them.
