Risveglio

The property was great and the owner very nice. Plenty of room for the four of us. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, big fridge, air-conditioning. Very close to restaurants, supermarket, lake, funicular, boat hire, ferry and the Bascillica. Enjoyed the property very much and would recommend it.

I did'nt like that I asked for 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and got to the apartment and there was two bedrooms but one had a queen, the other had a single and there was a pull out sofa in the living area. Was'nt mentioned that the apartment was on the second floor and the entrance into the building was very dirty and smelt. Maybe need to state that if you are arriving by train to go to Lago train station and then it's a minute walk cause we came in on the San Giovanni and had to drag our suitcases for 30mins to find the place. Needs some wine glasses and cereal/soup bowls

Superb location. Bang in Como centre with access to public transport including ferries. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby as is the funicular for a fab view. We also caught a bus very easily to Bellagio which stopped at many of the villages on the way. Easy to do a day trip to Milan too. Apartment was very well equipped. We had to walk up stairs to the apartment but not an issue for us although the hallway smelt abit of cigarettes which thankfully did not impact the apartment which was super clean n comfy. The host allowed us a late check out which saved us rushing around and was much appreciated. Be mindful to stick to estimated arrival time as we were 15 mins early and couldn't get hold of the host until 15 mins later.
