Iris Apartments

Beautiful, spacious, modern, tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment (we stayed in the Rose apartment). The owner sent very clear instructions for check in, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. We loved the location, slightly outside the centre of Obertraun, as it was quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially when the clouds were low (see photos). Really enjoyed the morning tea/coffee on the balcony looking at the gorgeous views. You can see the Dachstein Krippenstein cable cars and 5 fingers viewing platform from the balcony too. There is parking available at this property but we arrived by train and didn't need a car as this apartment was perfectly situated within walking distance to the local attractions/points of interest such as Obertraun Station (25 minutes walk), Supermarket (15 minutes walk), Dachstein Krippenstein cable car (35 minutes walk), Koppenbrüller cave (45 minute walk), Hallstatt (about 1.5h walk but can get there in about an hour if taking the ferry, we walked) and various local hiking trails we enjoyed. It's an absolutely perfect place for a stay in Obertraun and I would definitely recommend it. Really hope to come back to this beautiful area and would stay in this apartment again without any hesitation.

Gyönyörű környezetben volt, az erkélyről csodálatos kilátás nyílt a környező hegyekre. Mindennel fel volt szerelve amire szükségünk volt.

Die Lage was sehr angenehm, ruhig. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Super fanden wir das es Kaffee für 2-3Tage noch hatte… Sowie eine Flasche Prosecco als Willkommens Geschenk.

Was wir als kritikpunkt empfinden war das vorallem die Dachfenster keine Verdunklungsroullos hatten, wir waren daher immer früh wach da es schon hell war…..
