I booked this place for my colleagues and me from the 28th to the 30th of November, and honestly, the entire experience was nothing short of extremely disappointing. Within one hour of being there, my colleague had an allergic reaction and broke out in multiple skin rashes. I immediately contacted booking.com and the staff at the property to report what happened. They asked me to send proof of the rash so they could “process the refund,” which I did straight away. The staff told me the refund wouldn’t happen the same day but assured me it would be taken care of. Trusting their word, we left the property—only to find out later that this reassurance meant nothing. Neither the property nor the staff responded to booking.com’s repeated attempts to reach them, nor to mine. After an entire week of silence, they finally said the landlord refused to give a refund because apparently it was our fault for booking their place in the first place. The level of unprofessionalism is honestly shocking. There was absolutely zero regard for my colleague’s health, despite us doing everything they asked. We were completely misled, left without support, and forced to find new accommodation last minute in the evening—something the owner clearly has no interest in compensating for. Overall, an extremely disappointing and irresponsible experience from this property. I would avoid.
