We chose the unit in Genoa for a three night stay because we wanted to see the city. The pictures on line showed the unit well but sometimes pictures can be deceiving. The unit is located about 30 minutes by public transport from downtown and we had easy access to a bus (less than 150 meters away. The on line listing says that parking is available but when we go there parking was first come on the street. Luckily we got a spot about half a block away. The unit itself is very spacious but could use a major renovation and paint job. Things listed which were not there, no toaster, the second bathroom was not available because of renovations and the shower was so small that there was no way that I at 6’3” could properly stand in it let alone shower. Our check in was also an adventure. When we arrived we texted the property manager who showed up gave us the key and pointed to the door. No orientation, where things were or how they worked. The pots and pans in the unit have seen their best before date and all needed to be cleaned before we would even use them. The stove is a four burner gas with no automatic lighting system and the lighters provided were empty so first thing we had to do was head out and buy a lighter. Only three of the burners were actually functioning. I am limited to the length of the review but needless to say the stay was adequate but I would not recommend this unit without major work being done to bring it up to standard.
