Convenient flat for family visit

Convenient for family visit. Warm. Comfortable beds. Parking. Well equipped.Safe in flat.

No instructions, challenging to turn on sitting room radiator. Shower attachment too high to reach, so used as hand shower. Patches of damp by window in sitting room and in bathroom. Very dark at night walking back to flat.

Not enough hot water and numerous niggles

The property was clean and spacious

There was not enough hot water - after two short showers and washing dishes it was finished. We contacted the owner who said the water tank was small and would not re-heat until the next day. This meant the three of us could not wash after a hot and dusty day out and my daughter did not get clean at all that day. This is unacceptable and has been raised in previous reviews so the owner knows about it. Heavy shower head in bathroom constantly tipped down - also noted by previous reviews. Kitchen - no oven gloves and limited dishes and utensils. Oven control decals all worn off so you have no idea what temperature you are setting to. No manual for oven or microwave, which wont work until you work out how to set the clock. Cooker hood needing a light bulb replaced. Small fridge with tiny freezer box badly needing defrosting so it shuts properly and can get proper use. Montpellier washing machine wouldnt complete a normal cycle so we had to run an extra rinse cycle every time to get it to finish. Living room - Malfunctioning blind. Bedrooms - Blackout blind in only one bedroom. No wardrobes or dressers despite there being room in both bedrooms. Just a single standalone rack in one bedroom and a dressing table in other instead. Main double bed mattress could use replacing or a topper to avoid rolling together.

Superb stay

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed for a great stay. with home cooking and relaxing. The living area and bathroom are very spacious and well furnished. The bedrooms are also very comfortable. The wifi is good. Communication with the owner was excellent, and key collection went smoothly. A big thank you to the owner too for some welcome snacks and water in the fridge.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in Shepshed. It’s modern, clean, and feels very safe. The beds were super comfy, and everything we needed was provided — from breakfast bits to nice little touches that made it feel homely. Having parking on site was really handy too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free place!

Well managed, great little apartment with all amenities

Great apartment, absolutely perfect, cooking, washing machine, microwave, home from home really, very well managed, very clean and well presented with some homely touches, tea, coffee ,milk sachet sugar, washing up liquid,allocated parking, instructions for access was spot on. Credit the people involved.

If I had to be critical, it would be the settings on the Oven aren’t visible anymore,

Spacious Living room and kitchen. Neat and clean

In 2nd bedroom beds were small .not suitable for an adult. Very bright and uncomfortable in morning there was no blind on the window of second bedroom No fan in the property to use on a hot day. Property is situated in a run-down area.

This was a last minute booking as we needed somewhere to stay for just one night. Everything was extremely smooth and it suited our needs perfectly. A very shourt walk to plenty of oprions to eat and drink.

A FANTASTIC Place to stay

The property for us was exceptional! Very modern, very clean and a very pleasant place to stay, the night before a flight from East Midlands Airport, all four of us absolutely loved it. It was exceptionally clean, beds were all comfy and within a great location for an early morning flight. All four of us could not recommend it enough, it is somewhere we will certainly look to use again in the future.

Fab flat

Lovely apartment spacious and well located for what we needed. It was really comfortable. The main bed was bowing in the middle, so it affected comfort, but other than that, everything was brilliant. Easy to find, easy to park, easy to access, and the little touches of milk sachets and breakfast options was lovely. Will happily stay again if back in the area.

Great place and very convenient for Loughborough unoversity

The property was perfect. We had details of how to get that morning and it was all very easy for us. Good parking space outside of property. The property was clean and as soon s we walked in we felt comfortable. Good size sitting room and bedrooms. And great to have the breakfast bits provided as saved a shop. Thank you

A spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with easy parking/access and well located.

Overall the apartment was spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and the complimentary breakfast bits were a very nice touch. Moreover, the hosts were quick to respond to any problems/queries we had.

When we arrived (in the evening) we had no hot water for showers, which was disappointing. We wondered if we had to turn the boiler on, but as there were no instructions or welcome leaflet we had to resort to contacting the hosts. I understand that the boiler may be small and running on a cycle, but I would suggest that if possible the host should turn it on once the previous guests have left so that the next guests can have at least a quick hot shower when they arrive. I also think that potentially the flat could benefit from having a short welcome leaflet left out on the coffee table, which could help explain that due to the boilers size and heating cycle, if guests take too long a shower they may use up all the hot water.

Slightly awkward to find in the dark. Accidentally tried to get into number 16 instead as the parking space is outside that.

I Came to visit family and found myself a little home away from home which was perfect for what I needed!

Very homely with all the necessary amenities. Very close to town centre and perfect to get to the main bus stop.
