Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette grange magnifiquement rénovée, située en annexe d’une maison d’habitation. Le lieu est décoré avec beaucoup de goût, mêlant authenticité et confort moderne. La literie est de qualité, et tout le nécessaire est prévu pour un séjour agréable et autonome.
Les propriétaires, présents sur place, sont d’une discrétion remarquable tout en restant disponibles en cas de besoin. Leur accueil est chaleureux et attentionné, ce qui contribue à une atmosphère paisible et respectueuse.
À l’extérieur, la propriété est idéale pour les familles : une belle piscine, un terrain de jeu, un trampoline pour les enfants, et une table de ping-pong pour des moments de détente. L’environnement est calme et propice au repos.
Un lieu charmant et parfaitement adapté pour découvrir la région de Porto et ses environs.

Il est à noter que le logement ne dispose pas encore d’air conditionné, mais son installation est prévue prochainement. Cela n’a pas nui à notre confort, mais il est bon de le savoir en période de forte chaleur.

The house is a beautifully restored old barn — authentic and full of character! It’s a long, narrow building stretching alongside the pool, about 4 meters wide and 22 meters long. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, a bathroom, and a staircase. Upstairs there are three cozy bedrooms and another bathroom. From the dining room, you can step directly out to the pool area. Near the pool, there is a shower and another outdoor bathroom with a shower. The house had very interesting vintage furniture.
Eduardo, the host, is incredibly welcoming! He doesn’t speak much English, so we chatted in my very basic Portuguese :) The owners live in the neighboring house, but as mentioned in other reviews, they provide complete privacy. They go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable — fresh flowers in every room, everything spotlessly clean, and a welcome table with a bottle of fine port wine, cheeses, cold cuts, and marmalade — simply amazing! At my request, Eduardo provided a great barbecue grill with a lid, temperature gauge, and charcoal starter.
For the kids, there was a pool, grass football area, and a trampoline. The host even brought inflatable swim vests for them — such a thoughtful touch! And there were also cats living on the property — the kids were absolutely delighted!
All in all, it was an unforgettable stay, and we loved every moment of it!
I really don’t want this to sound like criticism for the sake of it — it’s always easy to find flaws! You can clearly see the love and care the owners put into the place. But perhaps these points could help bring the comfort of guests’ stay to an absolute level in the future.
The kitchen had only a small under-counter fridge. Given that the house is large and can easily accommodate two or three families, the fridge capacity on the main kitchen level felt insufficient.
There is no central air conditioning system in the house. I understand that in the Porto region this is rarely necessary, but on very hot days the second floor can get extremely warm, as all the bedrooms are located under the roof. And if nights are also hot, it’s difficult to ventilate properly. The only cooling option was a small portable floor air conditioner, which unfortunately didn’t create much effect besides noise.
As for the showers, I believe the water is heated mainly by solar energy. In the mornings, I often had to take a cold shower.

La casa esta muy bien restaurada, muy funcional y dispone de todos los servicios que se necesitan. Los dueños, muy atentos y pendientes en todo momento. ¡¡ Da gusto !!. La finca es preciosa y esta todo muy bien cuidado.
La casa esta muy bien situada, porque tiene un poco de todo cerca y te puedes mover muy bien. Es una zona muy bonita.
