Hartelijk ontvangst in een prachtig en gezellig huis. De eigenaar was heel reactief, hielp ons met het vinden van ATM en raadde ons allerlei adressen aan, om te eten, voor onsen, en andere toeristische attracties. We voelden ons er echt welkom en zouden er zo weer verblijven. Het huis bevindt zich in een schattig dorpje aan de haven en de omwonenden zijn heel vriendelijk, wat onze ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Niets dan lof!

Interesting mix of Japanese and Maroccan style, with many nice decorations. Well equipped and nice set of snacks and noodles available. The host was great and took us on an evening ride to see fireflies, was magical! The house is in a small peaceful town not far from ricefields and the pottery towns.
Tall people will need to watch out since the doorframes are around 180 cm, but this is also the charm of an old traditional house, no problem.

Shachihoko was the perfect stay for us in Imari. It is beautifully situated, clean and comfortable. We had advised we would be arriving in the evening and the host kindly had the lights on to welcome us in. The stay was exactly as pictured and went beyond our expectations. A full kitchen was available with a complete suite of implements and seasoning. Generous snacks and drinks were also provided. Would not hesitate to stay again.
