Apt 26 Eden Wilds Umtamvuna Getaway

There was nothing wrong with the property. The host, Ernest, could do with a bit of finishing school on dealing with guests. The ad didn't mention anything about there being no towels provided and only sent a message to that effect at the exact time I was meant to be checking in, 4 days after confirming the booking. Tried to call and send messages to no avail until much later when he said he didn't have airtime and didn't take kindly to me saying I was not going to give the business a good review because of poor communication. He went on to tell me I was trying to kill his business, accompanied by a short lecture on how self-catering establishments work regarding towels. It appears there were towels in a wardrobe and maybe he just sent out a generic message. Wouldn't mind going back as long as I don't have to deal with Ernest. Oh, I also don't know how the distance is measured but the venue is more than 3.5km from PE city centre; at least the route I took.

Trails and kayaking

Quiet, safe and clean....very peaceful

There's no restaurant within the premises

Unit was spacious and clean. Washing machine and dryer was a bonus. There was enough crockery and cutlery.

There was no place in shower for soap, shampoo etc. Pillows were flat and only 1 per person Fan chain was broken and I had to climb up onto bed to switch it on
