GYDEN STAYCATION #Southkey Mosaic next to Mid Valley Mall

The team was friendly and prompt response. The location was so convenience. Overall still acceptable.

Check in time is quite late but they managed to clean and tidy up the apartment earlier so we were checked in before 4pm. Thank you for the team. Need more maintenance especially the bathroom.

I had a very comfortable stay at Gyden Staycation @ Southkey Mosaic. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a beautiful view overlooking Johor Bahru. The check-in and check-out instructions were simple, concise, and easy to follow, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. This wasn't my first stay at Mosaic Southkey, and based on this experience, I would definitely consider booking with Gyden again for my next visit. Overall, it was an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

The only aspect I felt could be improved is the standard check-in and check-out policy. The management team is efficient and responsive, but the fixed check-in at 4:00 pm and check-out at 11:00 am feels slightly restrictive compared to many hotels, which commonly offer a 3:00 pm check-in and 12:00 pm check-out. I understand that the five-hour window is likely necessary to prepare and clean the unit thoroughly for incoming guests, and I appreciate the importance of maintaining high housekeeping standards. I also believe the team would probably be accommodating if early check-in or late check-out were requested, subject to availability. That said, as a standard policy, the timing does feel as though it reduces the amount of time guests get to enjoy the property. A little more flexibility, where operationally possible, would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Place is spacious and relatively clean. There were 3 double beds and 2 toilets. Beds were comfortable. Near mid valley shopping mall and coffee shop downstairs(closes at 5pm), so its pretty convenient. Great for short stay. CS was responsive through whatsapp. Water filter provided so no need to boil own water.

Toilet door at the ensuite room was broken, which couldnt be fixed as CS told that its weekend. Water tap in kitchen was shaky but still usable. Feel that the aircons in the rooms was not cold enough (living room was ok). So in general, the place probably need some maintenance.

Staff was reachable, instructions easy to follow for self check in, unit is big to accommodate 8 pax, no noticeable pest, water pressure decent, water heater decent, hard beds to my liking

Facilities - faulty washing machine; faulty taps though functionality not affected; door handle loose, not recommended for cooking; overflow of shower area if bathe too long; devt doing lift upgrading and waiting time is bad
