The View! Palm Desert Country Club Villa

I liked everything about the property. There was nothing I didn’t like.

We loved the location and view. The beds were super comfortable as well as bedding.

We would have liked a regular coffee maker and a regular wine opener and some Saran Wrap and or foil or parchment paper. Hooks in the bathrooms for towels and another little trash can in the sink area of the master bath. Other than that we had a fantastic time. These are just suggestions. We weren’t too affected by these items not being there but would’ve been nice.

Never received e-mails with check-in instructions. Owner never answered phone/texts (he was on a plane). Impossible to reach booking.com or the property. Turns out it is NOT The View/Palm Desert Boutique Inn - it is Palm Valley Country Club so Google maps didn't help. We couldn't find main gate (as the name of the property was wrong) and had to tailgate another car to get in at a non-manned gate. It took us 1 1/2 hours to get the door code - friendly neighbors lent a hand. The property is gorgeous - newly upgraded. However, the check in experience and the lack of communication from the property and the owners left a sour taste in our mouths. To add insult to the injury, we were charged $100 "damage" fee for our friends service dog!
