We spent a very relaxing two weeks here from late January to mid-February and it was just what the doctor ordered. Beautifully furnished with every amenity we could possibly need. Wi-fi, easy access to Netflix and Prime Video (be sure to bring your personal passwords), a HUGE living room screen, with additional TVs in the two bedrooms (we didn't use these, but at least they were there), large kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and stay home. The deck was not only large, but offers a huge grill, a large table with 4 chairs, a heater if needed, and the golf course and mountain views were spectacular. Being on the second floor was perfect for our dog who could enjoy the balcony without having to be tethered to anything, which would have been necessary on the ground floor. The humans (us) also spent a good deal of time on the balcony, whether reading, having breakfast, or getting some work in without the pressure of a deadline.
We made good use of the washer/dryer in the main floor entry to the garage. If security is important to you, this complex is secure as they come. There's a round-the-clock security guard at the primary entrance, but everyone is very friendly here and appear to keep an eye out for their neighbors. The neighborhood is quiet, spotless, and fabulous for walking, whether it be alone, with a significant other, or in our case, with our dog who didn't have to dodge any crazy drivers. The speed limit of 25 is adhered to by everyone! If not slower.
We went to Joshua Tree National Park twice, and it takes just under an hour to get there. Both times we were there for several hours as it is just otherworldly and beautiful. A day trip to Idyllwild is highly recommended, as is taking a driving audio tour of the amazing Palm Springs modernism homes. We went with those offered at www.moderntourspalmsprings.com and it was perfect for our 2-3 hours of available time. Also, don't miss the Palm Springs Air Museum. It was well beyond our expectations, with kids and dogs allowed, and even encouraged.
All-in-all, we had a great time here. Having two bathrooms, one with a tub and two sinks, and the guest bathroom having the best shower ever, was hugely appreciated. When we had a problem with our Wi-Fi connection, the owner, Gary, was easily reachable and accommodating in getting the issue corrected.
If/when we return, this condo will certainly be of interest to us again.
