Gorgeous getaway in the old city centre of Antwerp

Stairway a bit hard if you are handicapped, but traditional style in the region

Ideally located in the heart of the old city center, it is a perfect place to explore Antwerp. The digital check-in/out went very smoothly - though 10am is a bit early to leave the place the last day. The apartment is, clean, decorated with taste and well equipped (coffee machine, boiler, dryer, etc.) which makes it very comfortable. You feel like you’re at home. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable - I had read comments saying differently. We came with a rental car and could find a parking nearby 31€/24h (Indigo Grote Markt Parking). You must be aware a car registration is necessary to drive in certain areas of the city. The registration procedure (online) is relatively simple and must be done well in advance (processing time of the registration is 10 days but it could be shorter). All in all we had a fantastic time in Antwerp!

Nothing - though it is worth to mention that the staircase is rather narrow and steep (may be difficult for elderly or very young children). Face towels by default would have been appreciated too - but we did not ask for it.

Very lovely flat in a great location. Overlooking a fairly busy pedestrianised street but rarely noisy, just the fun of watching the flow of people. Very well equipped and clean. The stairs (mentioned by some others) didn't bother us, we are in our 70s but relatively fit and travelling with a small cabin bag each - I imagine if you can't do stairs and have large bags this would be an issue. Good supermarkets within easy walk and very easy access to everything you'd want to do in antwerp.

Very stylish and fabulous location

The steep staircase to get to second floor was not a joke. It was so dangerous. Do not bring children here, its not safe. Its like feeling of climbing a ladder. The noise from the flat above was so loud. It kept us awake for most of the night… we stayed one night only and thank god for that. Could be more generous with towels.
