Apartment Louvre by Studio prestige

Apartamento muy bonito, limpio y bien situado.

Le falta mucho equipamiento en la cocina. No había tijeras, ni bayeta, ni paño… Cuenta con lo mínimo. Uno de los baños no tiene enchufes y se echa en falta también.

The apartment is incredible, better than on photos. So spacious, bright, with beautiful windows, comfortable beds and well taken care of classic design. I stayed in other apartments in Paris, this one was by far the best. Water in the shower was hot and the pressure was great.

Honestly, nothing.

Prachtig groot appartement. Voor 6 personen ruimte genoeg. Wel aan de prijs.

Keukenapparatuur kan wel een upgrade gebruiken. Geen schaar, geen goede aansteker om het gasfornuis aan te steken. Geen broodmes. Te weinig scherpe messen.

Superb central location in a beautiful typically Parisian block: lots to do with essential tourist sights within easy walking distance as well as numerous bars and restaurants (bakery round the corner and a convenience store 5 minutes away opposite the Bourse). The beds were comfortable and the showers a good standard (good water pressure). Enough space for 2 single friends and one couple to share without any awkward moments. Someone met us to hand over the keys, always nice to have some human contact. Good communication with the people managing the place.

A few equipment and maintenance issues. I never expected to focus on an issue like lighting in a holiday accommodation but it is very relevant in January, when natural light is at its lowest. We experienced both extremes in the apartment: glaring lights in the living room (no dimmer switch and just one floor lamp!) and very dim lights in the kitchen (the lights above the hob didn't work). Please add some lamps in the lounge for ambiance and reading! Speaking of the kitchen, most people will find using the imposing La Cornue gas range rather daunting. A demo upon arrival would have been helpful but we managed to fry some eggs at breakfast so all was not lost! A bread knife was sorely missed (and the knives provided were rather blunt). A couple of windows (one in the lounge the other in a bedroom) do not shut properly any more (hook missing at the bottom) and the bedroom one blew open in during a particularly windy night. The apartment photos when booking looked very stylish and conveyed an impression of luxury which was not really matched by the level of comfort we experienced. A few out of date magazines scattered around reinforced the impression that not much thought was given to adding little touches that make visitors feel really welcome if not right at home.
