Casa Buganvília

Lovely home, immaculately clean, very quiet in a great location. Was equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We didn't have a car but this was not a problem as we were able to comfortably walk into the centre of town and the marina in a good 15 mins. There were some small nearby supermarkets and plenty of good restaurants. There is also plenty of bus routes within a 10 min walk from the property. We loved Catarina park which was also a good 10 mins walk and this was a beautiful relaxing setting with great views. It was great to meet Lucy and she met us at the property to explain everything. The welcome pack was a nice touch. We very much appreciated being able to leave the property and our luggage until early afternoon as our flight wasn't until 5 pm. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Buganvilia to our friends & family and would certainly stay here again in the future.

I personally would have preferred a firmer pillow and maybe some of the bath towels being slightly larger, however, this isn't a complaint.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Madeira specific house found in a quiet area of Funchal. It is easily accessible by public transport (including the AeroBus) and also close to Funchal's old town and offers all the facilities needed as well as a garden for enjoying the sunny Madeira weather. There are also many parking spaces around the house.
